How To Train Your Dragon 3

There are baby light furies at 2:03. I wonder if that's Toothless's children?
They mentioned before that the Light Fury isn't the last of its kind so they could be other ones. Drogo's Bewilderbeast from HTTYD2 is in that shot, which I thought was kind of cool.

Loved the first, was disappointed in the second. This looks more of the same. Hoping for the best.

Still better than that forced as hell meeting with Drogon in GoT S7. :funny:

There are toy leaks out there now that are pretty spoiler-y
Hiccup and Astrid in wedding attire and with two kids
It's pretty obvious it was going that way anyways but there's that.

It is pretty much implied in the trailer.

How was it forced? Jon was staying at Dragonstone where Dany and her dragons were. You really think while Jon was there he wouldnt get an up close moment with the dragons that were flying free or that Dany might not try to intimidate/show off the entire time Jon was there? He was outside, she was flying back, saw him, and decided to show off and check Jon's reaction to a close up with a dragon. Seems perfectly natural in context.

Pretty good so far.

First one is still the best. Second one was decent.

Third one is just sad in a touching way, it reminds us all that there comes a point that we all have to grow up, and it's the weakest of the three. However, it's still worth watching if you've seen the first two. First act was okay, second act was too slow, third act was the best/sad. Loved Ruffnut's annoying moment. This movie left me conflicted, but on the plus side Astrid ditches her irritating fringe/bangs. I'm going to miss this series.

Toy Story sad?

D&D beat everyone over the head with "Jon and Dany are going to bang by the end of the season" every interaction they had together was a massive wink and nudge. There's nothing wrong with Jon seeing a dragon but it was so corny the way it was shot. I wonder if they do the same thing with Dany meeting Ghost in S8?

But back to HTTYD, I preferred the sequel to the first one, so I've got my expectations in check for this. Even if it's not as great as what came before it, I expect I should still like it enough.

Toy Story sad?
This is a subjective answer, so it'll depend on you. Overall the movie's not sad, it's the ending I found sad. Courtship of Toothless and the Light Fury dragged, they should've shown more Hiccup/Astrid and/or Hiccup/Toothless moments.

Reviews are starting to come out. Seems to be off to a decent start.

I read all the spoilers I could find, definitely still looking forward to it.

Personally saw the first as rather generic or basic, a typical boy and his dog movie but with a dragon instead.

Surprisingly loved the second (as in it quickly became one of my favorite animated films) since it wasn’t afraid of being a more mature animated film than many that are made today, akin to animated films from the 80s.

Hope this, and it seems to, keeps this same tone as the second.

I’m the opposite. Loved the first, disappointed in the second.

So I just saw this tonight and you know I've never been a fan of the last two films and I thought they were decent, well animated films but not that groundbreaking and exciting. I felt the same way with this third film.

The Hidden World shouldn't even be in the title since that was shown for like less than 12 minutes and i thought the lead human characters foundthe hiddenworld so easy/fast, especially when the dad couldn't even find it during his entire life. It just seemed plot convenience to me that it was found quickly. They should have used 3 instead of the subtitle, its also too wordy as a title as well. Didnt care for the villain. The supporting cast were okay not great. I kinda liked the new white dragon. The ending was kinda sad but two minutes later, they reunited even though it took a long time, the impact of the dragons leaving was kinda lost since the movie got a reunion ending and it was a long scene. Like I was expecting a short tease of the dragon coming back but they got this long scene.

7/10.

Can anyone tell me, can I skip the second movie since I haven't seen it yet, and just go to this? Or would I get confused? Thanks

I can't believe this spoiled the end of Game of Thrones....
