Not that you ask that question, I suppose I think of it as two thousand and 16. Anything post-2000 is a long two thousand. I don't know why but hey if I were born post-2000 it may've been different. Oh well...

I never made the switch from two-thousand to twenty, and I'm not really sure when it was decided that twenty is the only correct way to say it. I mean, weren't we all saying two-thousand for at least the first nine or so years of the new millennium? And a lot of us here are fans of Back to the Future and Ghostbusters which refers to 2015 and 2016 with two-thousand instead of twenty(except for the one time Doc said twenty fifteen).
