He's the champion of female empowerment i think.
Buffy, River, Faith, Willow, even Fred, are all strong female characters who can kick butt and take names.
And they aren't big breasted ****s, who he writes so guys can have some entertainment, they are normal, intelligent women in well written, thought out stories.
That is why i like Joss Whedon. and thats why Wonder Woman will rock.

Anytime I question what would happen with WW casting, I simply think of the transformation of the character of Fred to Illyria in season 5 of Angel, where frail little Amy Acker went from being so timid and mousey to Superpowered Hell Goddess. Same actress, but just the Transformation. As long as the actress got chop's and screen presence, Im more than confident Wheden will deliver a wonder woman on the same level as Superman.

That punch she put through that demons head after Wesley died in her arms had me cheering. I felt the same as you did at first, but really liked her after it became obvious Illyria grew over of Fred, not consumed her.

Damn...sorry I missed Howard talking about it today.
He's a pre-crisis nut so I knew he would like it. He's been talking about it alot lately. Robin is the one that is usually hard to please, so if she liked it, that says something.

Nah, good for him that he liked the Spider-Man movies... maybe I should re-think my opinion of said films.

Futher more, I still don't see many reasons not to be pesstimistic.

Lois Lane is being played by a girl who looks all of 18 years old and she is the one who supposedly had this 5 year old child and is somehow a superstar journalist.

Kevin Spacey looks to be aping Hackman's Lex, which I hated.

It's a sequel to extremely dated 20+year old movies.

The Lex land deal thing seems to be the same story as the first movie.

And Singer directed the underwelming X-men movies and didn't do very well in the action department and I pretty much am very underwelmed with him as a director.
