Thats hard to believe lol. It seems like trying to form a thoughtful sentence on this board is as hard banging the fat chick who hangs out with all the hot girls in high school.

BTW, I was in that postion once, and I said no cushion for me thanks.

Dude, not to argue. But if you're only a Marvel fanboy, why are you on the Superman forum?

Just want to check out what's going on on with the competition.
I'm a Superman, and Batman fan, just not a DC or DC fanboy fan. I don't like DC, and DC fanatics even less. The DC fanboys who think Batman and Superman rule the comic universe, and Marvel in general, and FF in particular are just johnny come latelys. I'm a FF fanatic in the extreme.

If you have read one Marvel comic, you have read them all:supes:

B1tch, B1tch, B1tch, science goes wrong, whine and complain so more, my life sucks, B1tch a little bit, I just want to be normal. There, I just summed it up......

With maybe the exception of X-Men!

Well it's marvel fanboys who troll themselves around, like you, that I dislike with a passion. It's not that I don't like Marvel comics, it's just that they are a one trick pony and having it's so called greatness hoved in my face is tiresome.

On that note, I like Spider-Man and the X-Men. But please refrain from spouting off about how great Marvel is when your on the board of the greatest superhero of all time, who happens to be everything Marvel characters aren't:supes: :)

One trick pony ? Look whose calling the kettel black. DC has Superman, Batman then squat. Soon we'll have Batman returns 55, and Superman returns 99.

Seriously...Marvel Fanboys have crippled my enjoyment of the characters over the years:

"Ohhhh, Batman and Superman suck! Marvel is more relatable! I can totally relate to peter parker, whos married to a model, or Wolverine, a fat hairy slob who still manages to get more asian ass than anyone on the planet!"

"Ohhh, Dc has ripped off so many marvel superheroes. For example, Green Arrow totally riffed Hawkeye, even though GA was created in 41' while hawkeye didnt appear till 64'"

"DC owes their current movie resurgance to marvel movies, but i'm just gonna deny the fact that marvel movies wouldnt exist if STM hadnt have gotten made, and that every comic movie since has riffed the format of Batman 89' or STM in some way!"

I beleive he was talking about the character concepts, not the movies themselves. And in that case, read a DC comic, as most of the character origins are quite different from one another.

Can you say the same about marvel?

Too true man, too true.

You mean DC has Superman, Batman, and Wonder Women, who happens to be the greatest female superhero of all time and an iconic figure in her own right.

And on top of that, if WB and DC would get off there asses and start developing properties like Green Lantern and Flash, it would make money hand over fist. Green Lanter has so much potential it isn't funny, both as a comic book and a movie franchise, while the Flash is pretty much DC's answer to Spider-man, atleast feel and personality wise. And I might risk being flamed here, but Aquaman can be cool from time to time, and I really want to see that tv series air at some point.

Atleast for the most part the DC characters are different from each other. THAT is what makes Marvel a one trick pony, all of there origins are the same and all they do is ***** about not living a normal life, while the DC characters are, for the most part, accept who they are and live the life they were destined to live. Not to mention Superman and Green Lantern could easily defeat most of Marvels rogue gallery.

It's like this : Modern day Greek Gods vs. Science gone wrong.

You mean female superheros like Catwoman ? Bomb. Femal superheros, never make it. ( see Catwomen, and Super Girl ). DC has been living off Superman, and Batman for years, because they know they have no other superheros the public wants to see.

That proves nothing seeing that Avi Arad has ****ed out 3/4 of the Marvel properties, with more to come.

If you want to bash anyone, bash WB for not getting off there asses and making more DC character based films, or atleast leasing them to New Line. That does not change the fact that marvel characters are all the same.

Aquaman is kick ass dude, and the hook made him cool.
GL would be the best sci-fi/superhero epic ever.
Lets see, how many truely good superhero movies does Marvel have?
Spider-man 2 and X2, and thats about it. And the truth is they really aren't all that good. Batman Begins and Superman Returns are already kicking marvels films asses.

Hahahhahahahaha! All Carp can do is pull out movie facts, because thats ALL HE'S GOT.

Of course marvel's gonna have more. A bunch of different franchises passed out to different studios? and the fact that DC's been out of the game? Its common sense marvel will have more. Whreas WB owns ALL DC characters, meaning they cant just put ten projects in the pipeline for developement

Dosent change the fact that DC's only put one major new film out and its considered better than a large amount of the movies marvel's put out. dosent change the fact that BB, a reviival of a dead franchise, managed to beat Marvel's fresh, more audience friendly one. dosent change the fact that SR's already getting MUCH better reviews than X3. Quality vs Quantity

Proves my point. Just like female wrestelers don't sell tickets, any femal superhero can't draw flyes. Elektra was a stinker. Just proves my point.

What are you ALL DOING?

THis troll couldn't be any more blatant if he put it in troll tags and posted an avatar of Warwick Davis from Harry Potter.

You think Saph actually cares what you think? You think you can actually convince him? you think any of this belongs in a thread about Howard Stern's review of Superman?

Stop for a second.

Im on your side:up:

For all the projects marvel puts out, how many of them are actually considered on the level of "Great comic film?" Lets take a look:

Blade: Considered "Good"
X-Men: Considered "Good"
Spider-Man: Considered "Good"
Daredevil: Considered "Mediocre"
Hulk: Considered "Mediocre"
X2: Considered "Great"
Spider-Man 2: Considered "Great"
Man Thing: Considered so bad it wasnt put in theatres.
Blade Trinity: Considered "Bad"
Punisher: Considered "Mediocre"
Elektra: Considered "Bad"
Fantastic Four: Considered "Mediocre" to "Bad"
X-Men 3: Considered "Mediocre"

out of the 13 movies marvel has put out since blade, only 5 can be considered good or great.
