Jackman was great again, owning the roll now. Shame [BLACKOUT]we didnt get to see him do any fighting in the future part of the film as he looked awesome in that new suit[/BLACKOUT] but at least he wasnt the focal point of the film, well used.

It's funny, I barely realized he didn't have [BLACKOUT]a lot of fight scenes. [/BLACKOUT] It's like he had so much else going on that it didn't matter. Not like Origins, where he just kinda stood around during scenes where he should have had action.

I loved...

...when he told Magneto to clean up the mess on the plane. "You gonna clean this **** up??" :funny:

So much for being a survivor...

C'mon, who didn't giggle at that line? ;)

Yeah it felt like they purposely did that as [BLACKOUT]he has got his own movie going on now so he has plenty of chance to do that in his own film which I get and didnt effect my enjoyment one bit[/BLACKOUT] [BLACKOUT]that was not his purpose this time which is cool, [/BLACKOUT]

but
the fact his outfit looked so damn cool and looked like a total BA coming down the steps of the Xplane at the start made me wish we got to see a scene like that but ultimately its a minor personal thing. He was still awesome just in a different sort of way

It's amazing how much Jackman's grown into the role. He's truly remarkable in that he has such a strong presence on screen with the delivery of his lines. I love the moments with Nick's younger Beast.

finally a movie he didn't take over and for that he is in my good graces (wolvie the character)

That was too funny :funny:

Agreed, they had some great scenes together. I also loved Hugh's moments with James. My gosh

I simply love Hugh in this movie, nothing else i can say. The day he no longer plays Wolverine will be a difficult one for me, cause i just cant picture anyone else playing that character now.

Taking my folks to see this tomorrow.

What I asked my dad: "Want to see X-Men tomorrow?"

What I asked my mom: "Want to see Hugh tomorrow?"

Both said yes immediately.

My whole theater erupted in laughter after Wolverine said "Are you gonna clean this s*** up?" to Magneto.

That scene was just great wasnt it hahaha

He's mentioned that his children were none too thrilled with that scene. :funny:

Agreed. I love Wolverine and Hugh as Wolverine -- that was never a problem for me -- but I hated how he was used. Finally we got a movie that knew how to use him as part of an ensemble. I've always thought he works best that way, anyway.

It was about time we saw some clear Wolver-butt :)

Although The Wolverine was great and brought Hugh back to a better place as the character than he's been in the last few films, Wolverine in DOFP is the Wolverine from X1 and X2. There's magic when he and Bryan Singer get together, and it overtly resonates throughout this entire masterpiece of a film.

Strangely, it is this movie that made me realize I will miss Jackman most in this franchise. He really is irreplaceable at this point.

I on the other hand, will be glad to see the back of him. My favorite X-Men movie (FC) doesn't have him (well, except a cameo). X-Men can move beyond Wolverine.

Also if I can make a sweeping statement, if a female removed her bra would there be whooping from the men in the cinema? No there would not, but you should have heard our the cinema when Wolverine is naked. Grow up FFS.

Sounds like...they were glad to see the back of him too. ;)

I could not resist.

Which cinema in Fantasyland was this???

Dear god, when I saw the first Spider-Man movie, the loudest cheer of the night was at Mary Jane's wet t-shirt.
