Hulk starts filming in June 07 per Avi

I wonder if he confused his start date with the release date of June? April is coming up pretty damn quick. Didn't War of the Worlds have a quick turn around like this???

^ They just announced the new June 13th release date last week. I'm still wondering if Avi crossed the wires in his brain and was thinking the release date and not the start date. In either way let's say Hulk starts filming in June, and if we're going to assume it needs just as much time as Iron Man to produce (maybe it doesn't) which is 14 months from start to release time then Hulk would have to have an August release date. Just as speculation here but as far as I know they'd need to get approval from Merril Lynch to release the film in the Winter as a Holiday release like Night at the Museum.

We need clarification. I'll get it from Louis.

Don't hate it Sava. It's not just Marvel it's the nature of the business when making a huge film like this...if in fact this does happen. The most important thing is that Louis has the time necessary to make the best film and have the right talent surrounding him. I honestly don't care if it comes out in June, July, August, or Nov/Dec. From a fan's standpoint I want the best film out there to enjoy, and I wan't the franchise to continue, and from a shareholders standpoint...I want the best film out there so the franchise will continue but get it out there asap without compromising the quality.

I wonder if the fact that the CGI and the CGI software being worked on prior to filming matters for much? They wanted Hulk's look to reflect Bana in the first film but who really noticed and who really cares? Make the Hulk look cool and believable and treat him as a separate character. I'm betting they're working on it even as I type this...

hey, i want the same things like you too but Universal JUST said the release dates and i doubt they'll come out and say "whoops, sorry, we f**ked up, we are actually releasing it later". LL can have the best script in the world but with little time he wont be able to make a great movie, i'm pissed now cause the release date just moved up and the shooting date got pushed back 2 months, if they say they are going to release it later, i'm cool with that, i just dont like that right now, it looks like LL lost 2 months.

I agree, the LAST thing we need on TIH is for LL to have too little time to make the best movie he can. I'm not a big LL fan anyway, so i would like it if they gave him plenty of time to iron things out.
