Human Condition

If that were true, then why does nearly every person in the world consider murder to be wrong? It has to be more than a global coincidence.

Um... it has to do with people not being f**king idiots that need to be told that murder is wrong? Do you need to be told that not treating other people with dignity (ie, stealing from them, killing them, hurting them, doing mean things to them) is a bad thing?

Like really... is the only thing keeping you from killing people the fact that you might get sent to hell?

I would also like to point out that this new color scheme makes me want to vomit rainbows.

My avy is way ahead of you.

Joss Whedon is not only a professed atheist, but he's even gone so far as to say the world would be better off if everyone rejected God. I have next to no patience for him anymore. I know God still does, but I've lost any small respect I had left for Mr. Whedon or his work.

So you reject and judge people who disagree with you?

How very Christian of you. :o

Even Jesus said to leave nonbelievers to their own fate if they persisted in rejecting God after-the-fact. Christians aren't called to be wusses, Jman. We're called to tell God's truth in love to anyone who will recieve it. But if, after we've done our best, a person still chooses to tell God "no", then their fate is their own. I think many people have a warped view of what being a Christian really means. We don't all wear crosses on everything and behave like the Campus Crusaders of the 1970s, y'know...

And may the same fate be received by he who rejects Allah, dude:huh:
Stating all of that doesn't mean anything, in any solid way.

I could tell you the truth about this point, but the last time I did that, I was banned for over a week because of "religious intolerance". It's rather odd how so many Christian-bashers remain in the meantime.:whatever:

If you want to know the critical difference with what you just stated, PM me.

The difference is, no one is equating Christians to murderers, drug addicts, or feeling sorry for Christians for following that faith.

Do you find that "christian-bashers" actively seek you out to bash you because you are a Christian? Or do you find that people bash you because you're a *****e who is also a Christian?

Being perfectly serious I hear Christians constantly talk about being persecuted and in all of my years as a Christian I was never persecuted. I was never beaten, mistreated, arrested, murdered, raped, bullied or even really "picked on". Ever. That could be because even when I was a Christian I didn't go around making forums to Jesus-troll and I didn't actively insult other people...

Maybe we aren't Christian bashers... Maybe you should stop using Christianity as something to hide behind and start realizing that we don't like you because of you, not because of Christ.

Indeed, can we take the C word out of this - its bad enough the reputation it has already on Earth lets not make it worse.
