Human Target

I used to watch that as a kid too. I think I first saw him as Steve Austin though.

Actually, now that I think about it. It could have been as Heath, Steve, or Colt. If I had to guess, it was probably as Steve because bionics are cool, and I only watched the other two because the six million dollar man was in them. :p

Awesome episode who knew Guerra had any fighting skills he could of killed Chance. The guest stars were awesome Armand Assante, the 6 million dollar man himself and Babtiste what a episode.

He'll always be Colt Seavers to me anyway. :D

I loved that show. Stuntman was second on my list of things I wanted to be when I grew up. It was second only to a whip wielding archeologist.:woot:

The Human Target finale was awesome. It was great learning how it began. Does anyone think that this was all part of Chase's plan? Colt said to always take the fight to them. Maybe he was tired of waiting for senior to find him and decided to take him out once and for all. His stateement to Guerrero at the end could be a sign to this and they could have changed their story a little to get Laverne (:awesome:) taken.

I sincerely hope this gets picked up. Fox would be more stupid then normal not to pick it up. I know it only had 12 episodes, but it's rare for me to enjoy every single episode of a series like I have with this one. Each one was just done right and didn't gravitate away from what makes it so good by changing the formula.

Anyone have any ideas for creative ways of letting Fox know we like the show and want it back?

LOL. Maybe something like that. So we are getting there. Maybe a little more refined.

I like that.

What about sending them cheap little plastic dart boards?

Just read this at THR. I found the bolded very interesting.

The season finale of Fox's "Human Target" took a dip Wednesday night in the ratings, not helping its chances for a renewal.
The final "Target" (7.2 million viewers, 1.9 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) dropped 14% to a series low in the demo. Fox intends to bring this show back, and it's tough to see one episode changing that, though the network would have certainly preferred for a well-promoted finale to have shown more spark. "Target" led into "American Idol" (20.6 million, 6.6), which was down a tenth and matching its Wednesday season low.

Fox hasn't officially said anything yet and could wait until May 17th to announce it when it presents its upfronts. Hopefully we will find out before then.

Seriously, I'm losing it right now with all this. I just lost Wolverine and The X-men and Spectacular Spider-man. Legend of the Seeker and Human Target next would push me over the edge.

wiegabo, I like the dart board idea. Should it be accompanied by a letter?

or a plastic dartboard with 'Dude' on it?

We need to send Guerrero into the Fox executive offices.

That's because the world's Chevy employees didn't have their Silver Camaro as a guest star like in the previous two episodes to make them tune in.

Undersigned. Loved the finale. Looked like Jackie was doing his own fighting too!

Fox, dammit, renew this ASAP and throw some more money at it! More Flashbacks with Lee Majors dammit! I forgot how much of my childhood that guy was in, and got a smile on my face as soon as he said his name. You can almost see the show as a 70's-80's version with him as Christopher Chance.

I love the idea of "Christopher Chance" and the whole idea of the Human Target being a mantle passed down from one man to the next over decades. It's a great mythology to introduce into the show.

But yeah, hopefully Fox will pay attention to how well it does in the key demo range, and gives it a real chance to flourish.

Who do you think could show this if Fox don't renew?

I could see this being teamed up with Leverage on TNT. Or even on USA with Burn Notice.

Although, a Human Target/Burn Notice double team would probably kill me. :awesome:

But like I've always said, Fox wants this to be their own version of Burn Notice. And I'm sure USA is aware of that, and it's doubtful that they'd pick up the show if Fox cancelled it.

But something else to consider, Fox can't be too pleased with the decline in the ratings for Lie To Me. If they let that show go, it would definitely work in Human Target's favor. In addition to 24, that's two shows gone and two big name stars (Tim Roth and Kiefer Sutherland) they wouldn't no longer have to pay fat paychecks to.

Bottom line, if Fox didn't have faith in the show, they wouldn't have paired it with American Idol (granted, Idol isn't as much of a crown jewel in their programming lineup anymore).

They better renew, I know Human Target is one of the few network shows I still watch, ever since the whole reality TV thing became the norm I have been watching more Cable series. But Fox has a long history of dumping good shows because of their limited patience. Only reason 24 lasted as long as it did is that the higher up's loved the politicization of it (the whole Torture thing got way out of hand though). This show has a much simpler plot line, and better characters.

There's no way it WON'T get a second season. It hink it's been doing great, right?
