Human Target

That news is pretty exciting though. Maybe they've already got their cast, and will begin shooting season 2 in a couple of months. My biggest hope is that if/when there is a season 2, it has more episodes than 12. I'm hoping for about 20-25.

I say take it with a grain of assault. I'm not 100% that link is a legit source and if it's truly for a season 2 character.

Earlier I was looking at the TVGuide website, trying to figure out what it is I normally watch at 8.

Then I suddenly remembered.

:(

I saw a casting log that says the series is currently casting in 2010 for a character named DEBI MANWILLER.

Was there a Debi in the previous season? I hope this means they are casting for a character in a new season. Fingers crossed.

Hate to break it to you but she's a casting director. All those names are. IMDb it.

'Human Target' exec unsure about future

The executive producer of Human Target has admitted that he does not know if the show will be renewed.
Jonathan Steinberg told iF magazine that executives at Fox are still deciding the future of the drama.
"So far, there's nothing new on that front," he said. "I think conversations are being had at the network. Hopefully we'll know something soon."
Steinberg went on to say that a second season of the show would be "bigger, faster, smarter", adding: "For us, it's always about pushing the envelope in terms of what can be accomplished in terms of action adventure on network TV. And if we could figure out a way to do an episode about pirates on the open sea, so much the better."
Steinberg also revealed that he would consider creating a recurring female character for Christopher Chance (Mark Valley) to begin a relationship with.
"I think we'd probably lean in the direction of committing to a female character that could stick around and give us more time to build out a relationship with Chance," he said.
"I don't think we'd ever want to drastically expand the regular cast. I like the dynamic between our three guys, and I like the flexibility it gives us to bring in prominent new characters each week. I think we'd probably look to expand the group to four in season two and add a regular female in, but I can't imagine expanding much beyond that."
Human Target continues in the UK on Wednesdays at 10pm.

Come on Fox, make the right choice.

Anyone else think there is a chance that Amy Acker's character is alive? I mean, a far away expolsion? That's pretty much guaranteed in TV land that she's still alive.

Blurgh, hasn't Human Target been getting good ratings? Why does Fox cancel literally everything I enjoy watching on their network?

Because Fox hates fans and good TV?

Man, that's not news I wanted to hear.

I was catching up and was watching 3 consecutive shows and my 1+ year old was running around all that time. By the end of the second show "dude" was a new favorite word.

Human Target teaches children new words. Bring it back:cwink:

From that interview it sounds like the studio want them to add a substantial female character as opposed to the buffet of disposable hotness week after week.

Mentioned in the spoiler tag posts. :cwink:

They already did: LAYLA! They just have to actually use her as part of the team for more than that one episode.

It's surprising that a show so clearly aimed at dudes doesn't have some built-in eye candy. Not that that's all there is to Layla, but damn, give us something. I'd settle for regular Agent Barnes action too, but I'd prefer Layla; Barnes' function would be too similar to Winston's, since she's another by-the-book law enforcer.

If Fox doesn't want the show, they need to move it to the FX network. FX would treat Human Target far better than Fox, and put it in Nip/Tuck's Wednesday night spot!

Corpulent, they have a hotass guest babe every week though.

Now I mean I agree because I want Barnes and Glasses Girl as regulars.

But let's just get this show renewed first. We need a Guerrero visit to the executive offices :) .

Human Target #1.

I went back and edited a bit. ;)

I'd love for them to use Layal more but I think Agent Barnes' sparky "will they wont they" style relationship with Chance may be more what the studios are looking for.

See, I was thinking the opposite. Layla gives the team a female presence without taking away Chance's weekly Captain Kirk-style flirtations with the guest females.
