why is Fox run by total idiots. It seems like a no brainer to put this show on Mondays where 24 used to be. We've probably still have another season of Terminator and Dollhouse if it weren't for them putting it on Friday. What a bunch of morons.

Again guys. I'm not happy about this either. But you know what, we are getting a second season I didn't even think we would get.

So I'm content we are getting the second season and I hope we get all 13 episodes. To me that's better than nothing.

Golgo has a thing for that Varma chick, if they were going to add a perma female lead I'd have prefered it was Emmanuelle Vaugier, her and Valley work well together.

She will play Ilsa, a sophisticated, sexy, driven and witty widow, a female Christopher Chance who doesn’t take any nonsense from anyone. Soon, she will be in charge of the team of security experts.

This sounds clichéd. I hope it doesn't suck. The Chance/Winston/Guerrero dynamic was tremendous on its own.

Agreed, there was some chemistry there and I was hoping we'd see a lot more of her once the show came back. Still, I'll give this Varma chick a chance. I think I remember seeing her in Hustle.

I like Indira Varma. I'm just a little wary of how her character sounds. Some new chick shows up and takes over the operation? What's Winston gonna be? Chopped liver?

But I suppose it'll make for good drama if they pull it off well.

Yeah that's a good question. Winston's job pretty much has been that he's the guy running the operation. Now she comes in and is running things, just what does that make of Winston?

Also, Winston and Chance have a good relationship and connection. So much that I find it hard to believe that someone could just come in and takeover the operation. Maybe Winston brings her in for some reason, but from what we've seen that doesn't sound like him IMO. He seems like a guy that would rather be hands on.

We'll see how it plays out though. I personally think Vaugier's character getting more screen time would work better, but I can't judge things until the second season premieres.

I'm at the panel right now. They're going to be adding a second woman to the cast. Although no actress has been cast, they described her as a dispicable thief.

They also said that Varma's character (wife of a dead billionaire) will be able to provide the team with more resources, and a more international presence.
