I must agree, Tim handles Johnny extremely well in the both pictures:up:

at the end when he absorbed everyone's powers? Shouldn't he have....I lost his flame on power??

I'm confused.

Ummmm...I have no comeback for that other than it was because it was cool!

Doesn't bother me.

Yeah, it really wasn't an issue to me. I hadn't even notice too.

Possibly it was because he absorbed everyone else powers, he gained his power back because it negated the transfer. It bounced back while the other powers were being absorbed.

I offer 3 possibilities...

The atoms and molecules in Johnny's body changed states several times during the course of the film when he switched powers he also absorbed specific amounts of energy with each exchange. Maybe all this power switching and stored energy fundamentally altered his DNA further allowing him to finally absorb powers instead of just switching them.

Since Johnny has the capability of storing and tapping into a constant resource of energy one can assume that in times of crisis there is a energy reserve he can draw upon when needed.

The incident of electromagnetic radiation absorbed by Johnny from the group may also have occured over a range of unidirectional frequencies enabling him to utilise all their powers and his own without passing any of his attributes to the other team members.

It was cool how he absorbed all of their powers but was strange that all of a sudden he could use them like he always had them. The first time he switched powers with Susan, neither one of them knew how to control them. But, when he switched with Ben, Ben seemed to be able to control the flames much better than Susan could. Next, when he switched with Reed, Reed automatically knew how to weld the wheel back together like he'd always had the power while Johnny sank to the floor in a puddle of silly puddy. At the end, Johnny used all the powers together like they were always his. Just didn't seem consistent with each character.

when you dealing with unstable powers, anything can happen
I mean, why not ask, about, why Johnny had ears and hair as the thing, or how when Sue and Reed took his power, they were able to go up in full flame and fly, when it took Johnny half of the first to be able to do that, why did he only glow rock hands at the end instead of full body
or, why didn't he take dooms powers when he touched him
it doesn't matter

They are smarter than Johnny. And Ben does not have hair on his head.

Doom had the powers of the cosmic board thus Johnny could not take them when he touched him. Its no different than Surfer.

ya, but, in the comics ben had hair, and it didn't transfered over when he became the thing, Johnny should of had either the round bald rock head, of some type of rock hair, though, that wasn't my point, I was just listing pointless questions as an example of how not every thing has to be explained

It was just an attempt at humor giving Johnny the look with his hair and ears grafted into the solid body.

Do all the Fantastic Four members go back to normal after Johnny defeats the Silver Surfer or will their powers always be messed up?

Trust me, it's not just girls who love that scene!

He blasts all of his clothing with the same phenomenon that gave him his stretching powers

Maybe that's what makes the stretching look so weird - because his clothes stretch too?

They go back to normal.
