I was only commenting that we hadn't said it at that time. Doesn't mean I don't think it's true.

But really, it doesn't affect me in any way so I really haven't given it any thought at all.

You were deducted because Karea changed the URLs to the picture after I told him not to. After the judges had already each submitted their scores for the ORIGINAL picture based on the ORIGINAL PICTURE. Karea then changed the URL to delete the original picture all together, despite asking me if it was ok and my responding "No, its already been judged."



We didn't judge the new picture at all. I didn't even see the new picture until I posted the scores and realized Karea changed the URL.



Thats not why. You lost points because it was ugly as hell. The black background was unpleasant on the eyes. The miscast was just my musings.

Matt, the URL was never changed, just the photo was updated.

Well, matt's not explaining himself properly. By deleting he old picture an using the same name for the new one, you essentially replaced it.

Why this matters when the pic was already judged? I dunno.

Here is what happened.

Karea submitted Darthphere's banner.

Karea PMed me and asked me if it was ok to change banners.

I said no. Submissions are final.

The link to Darthphere's banner was working as late as when I set up the score posts (Around 1:00 pm today).

At some point between this and the time I posted the scores, Karea changed the url to make it a link to the new banner. That is why he was penalized. For doing after he was told not to.

Want to clarify you didnt say no you said it was already judged at 10 am this morning. I changed the picture in the link at 1 am in the morning before sleeping.

I fail to see why I was being so unfair and penalizing that. Especially when it was more a symbolic penalty than anything, being as it didn't effect the outcome at all and I was aware of that when I issued it.

Yeah, no one is saying it was unfair, I'm just pissed that they switched out banners like that. I worked for like a good 3 minutes on it.
