I for one still think the character of Doom will not be delivered correctly, therefore disappointing hardcore FF fans........but we'll have to wait and see it's opening weekend, when it pulls in The Punisher numbers............j/k...

Yes, and there's no sign of his face being metal as of yet....However, the toy package states and I quote: The cosmic rays cause Victor;s skin to turn steely armor. It doesn't say part or some of his skin, it just says SKIN. What covers our face skin? yes, skin.

Because in UFF, instead of all four of them going up to space in a ship and then running into the cloud that altered their genetic code thus causing them to get their powers, ALL FIVE of them (DOOM included) are instead performing an experiment that sends each one of them into an alternate dimention which caused all five of them to mutate into having the powers they each possess. Part of Victor Van Damme's mutation included getting goat feet.

And that is why people are argueing that he's not "really all organic armor skin"...as though it's gonna make the mutation factor excusable.

To be fair, it also doesn't say his entire body is consumed by this entity. So the percentage of his body affected by this is a matter of conjecture. For all we we know it could be just his hands, his torso or a thigh. UDD's entire body peeled away to reveal this metal skin beneath.

'tis tiring for me to go round and round regarding these subjects. We have officially beat this horse to death. It's clear that each of us are going to see what we want to see--and no amount of "evidence" the other party poses is going to change certain minds around here. So it's whatever. I'll let the movie answer these questions.
