yes, but it is not a drawing.... i took a picture of a Napoleon statue, and i photoshopped it to make Doom on a horse... then i added the moon, the clouds, ad i tricked the lights and the colors

That would explain why Dr. Doom has a freakishly huge horse under him. Let's face it, if that was really Dr. Doom, you could not find a horse that was that big in relation to him without genetically engineering one (which Doom could certainly do, no doubt), and I doubt that among natural-born horses you could find one that could carry Doom's weight for an extended period of time, much less run. That armor's no joke.

Cool picture, though.

BTW, if you want to really get an awesome image of Doom on horseback, you should use Frank Frazetta's famous Death Dealer image. As Herr Logan says, there is a special breed of horses that the knights would ride because they had the strength to support their weight. Of course during the Crusades, they got outrun by the Arabian stallions (ancestors of today's race horses) on the desert sands. End of history lesson.

A bone? Yay, I love bones! maybe after I gnaw on that bone for a while, Master will take me to the park for a walk!

I really love it when I see and hear statements like "... and there's a little something for the fans, too." It really gives me confidence that these people are concentrating on the actual characters and not some watered-down, teen-candy versions that tested well with focus groups.

Well...it could be a variant of a 'Shire' Horse. Those nags are bloody huge and could handle Doom's weight too

Oh gosh get over it already. We don't know squat until we see the film. Not everything is set in stone. Hello reshoots and the whole Sue thing probably won't be that bad. People try to make any changes so bad just to have something to complain about.

I'm having some trouble reading that last sentence, so if you'd be so kind as to just sprinkle some sense on that, I'll owe you a soda or an assassination, whichever you need more urgently.

I am not a big fan of the FF to begin with, so I am not complaining about the changes because they are changes, but because they are bad changes, they are clichés and would be poor elements in any movie. I mean, a romantic rivalry between the good and the bad guy? Couldn't they come up with something original?

I have been lurking here a while but never posted so please be nice. I am not a comic expert and would not dream of arguing with the experts on that score but I can't resist answering this one.

While a romantic triangle may be 'old hat' in movies it is also the basic law of the herd. Males fight it out for the right to females and the winner not only gets the girl but gets to be alpha male and all the power and status that goes with it.

So introducing to male 'leaders' fighting over the girl is not about the romance, it is about who is the alpha male and that, from what I have read here, is a cliff notes version of all that has gone on between Read and Doom. Who is the alpha guy. And this may be more easy for non comic fans to deal with.


So getting the girl isn't about romance its about Reed winning the head butting competition.

I don't consider myself a comic expert either (well, not a FF expert anyway). And anyway, I don't buy this "alpha male" argument. For many reasons. 1)There are other sort of dramatic rivalries in fiction than romantic ones, and the intellectual rivalry Doom and Richards had in the comics was more interesting, since their rivalry was disinterested (not to mention that using intellectual rivalry is more true to the character). 2)Making one romantic story in a movie is already difficult...a romantic triangle is even more, without making it contrived and cliché. I am not saying it is impossible to do, I am saying it is difficult. And from what I know of the script, they just used every cliché in the book. 3)Romantic rivalry can be good if it brings something to the character or the story. A big chunk of medieval literature was written after the Arthur-Gueneveer-Lancelot love triangle or the Mark-Isolt-Tristan love triangle. But neither Richards nor Doom were written as romantic rivals, as I said before. It doesn't bring anything in the story, and certainly nothing for the characters. They should fight for principles, not love interests.
