I was never impressed with the stuff they offered on Dynamic Forces. The Alex Ross design on that Doom full sized bust was very boring. I have always preferred the Marvel stuff that Bowen designs produces. I was lucky enough to get one of the full figure statues when they first came out for a little over $100. Contrast it to the Alex Ross Doom at around $350!!

Do I? One of these days I will have to borrow a camera and take a picture.
Besides the full figure of Doom, other FF themed Bowen figures I have are all of the FF mini-busts, Sub-Mariner, Black Panther, Medusa, Mole Man and the Galactus bust. Then I also have the following busts; Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Magneto, Baron Zemo, Thanos, Red Skull, Green Goblin, Mysterio, Kraven and then of the Avengers I have Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Hawkeye, Giant Man and the Wasp, plus Silver Age Iron Man. Plus I forgot to mention the mini-version of the Daredevil statue, Hoping to pick up the Watcher and Ultron when I get a chance.

Whoa, very nice Vartha. I like the eyes and how the skin looks a bit darkened around the eyes. Very nice touch. I also love the look of the mask. It has a "warrior's helm" feel to it. Thanks for PMing me about this. Another great work of art from Vartha.

I always enjoy your drawings Vartha. To me, you're like the Bruce Campbell of comic drawings. Hard worker, great person to know, and a very classy person, in an awesome way.

Anyways, I also like how the eyes look so wide and tortured, with the emotionless mask and all. I'm digging that. Awesome stuff.

I agree as far as comparing it to F4. I don't know about Bat.Although I haven't seen it yet, I've pretty much read and seen everything about it (just like eveyone else here following it) and I'm more than convinced that George has made the Phantom Menace soooooo bad and then Attack of the Clones just above mediocre just so that this one really stands out in comparison; as though he planned to save the best for last. We'll see, but the reviews are good also. Too bad Vader who was basically a Dr Doom knock off will be taking the credit for villains having the kind of character attributes he has. Too bad also that the production company decided to not portray the same Dr Doom that influenced Lucas to create Darth Vader. I wonder who would even compare the two considering the way they seem to have done Dr Doom.... sad state of affairs

I haven't seen the movie yet. Can someone tell me about how far into the movie Anakin actually dons any kind of Vader-type garb? I'm guessin it's at the very, very end and he doesn't really do anything while wearing it. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I'm usually not, so if someone could shed some light on that, I'll owe you a free assassination should you need one done in the future.

Seriously, though, nobody who's seen it has told me anything about it, and it was just obvious from the pathetically predictable way these people make movies that they would only give us the fully costumed Darth Vader as a cameo. God forbid we cover up Hayden Christiansen's pretty-boy face with a cultural icon. Although I have to admit, some of the pictures I've seen of Anakin in his Sith robes and makeup look pretty damn creepy. Props for that, anyway.

Yeah his march on the Temple is amazing in the clips ive seen,The dark robes and the face devoid of anything but hate is excellent.Plus the real badass of the piece is The Emperor/Sidious,With his manipulation and awesome power from what ive heard

Anakin becomes Vader in the last few minutes of the movie. Much of it involves him being operated on, getting cyborg limb attachments and his breath mask. It's actually quite sad when he finally emerges from the operating table in full Vader garb. His first words have him asking for his wife who he doesn't know is dead.
