Is there a film from a director that you always forget they made? I always forget that Martin Scorsese directed The Color of Money. I don't know why. Perhaps cause its not really a Scorsese film per say.

John McTiernan-The Last Action Hero

Francis Ford Coppola-The Outsiders

John Carpenter - Starman

Irvin Kershner - Empire Strikes Back

So sue me, I can never remember his name.

I used to forget that Steven Spielberg directed The Color Purple

I love Kershner, great director.

But of all the years I've been a fan of Star Wars, I can yet to remember the director's name of Episode VI. Still don't remember what it is lol. I think it was David something...

Irvin Kershner - Empire Strikes Back

So sue me, I can never remember his name.

Kershner also directed Robocop 2 :csad:

Peter McDonald, director of Rambo III, was a second unit director for Empire Strikes Back as well as several Harry Potter movies.

George Lucas directed a scene in Godfather.

No, it was Richard Marquand. Lucas directed I, II, III, and IV.

On paper it was Marquand. In reality it was George Lucas since there was a difference of opinion on the set.

Whenever I'm reminded that Stanley Kubrick directed 'Spartacus' I go 'Oh wow! I never knew that!'

Alex Proyas - I, Robot

Always thought a whole bunch of commercials became sentient and formed together.

Wolfgang Peterson directed The Neverending Story
