Logic was applied to the inhibitor chip, as well as tritium powering a potential sun to sustain nuclear fusion in Spider-Man 2. Yet all of that is still unrealistic. Applying logic to things like this only gives the illusion of being realistic. Batman Begins did a great job of it.
