I take it this was a while ago, If he said it in a sexual context then it would be an infraction, not sure how it was a probation though unless he had been warned about the same thing already.

The word alone should not have got him that, an infraction for sure, if he typed "___ is a **** face" However, if it was in conjunction with multiple warnings within a short time frame that would have led to a probationary ban.
