Dictionary.com defines the word Dack as:

to remove the trousers from (someone) by force.

R.I.P. El Hijo del Perro Aguayo

Rey Mysterio accidentally killed him with the dropkick leading into the 619 causing reported spinal cord trauma. Guy can't catch a break.

The video of Higo's last moments will make you lose it so viewer discretion is advertised. :(

Cervical spine trauma/whiplash are reported to be the official causes of death. Man, this is tragic.

Edit: not to take away from this, but R.I.P. Cincinnati Red. Samoa Joe's original mentor/trainer.
Gregory Daves, a longtime Southern California independent wrestler who used the name Cincinnati Red, passed away yesterday of a heart attack in Victorville, CA, at the age of 40.
Daves started wrestling in 1993 and headlined smaller promotion shows in Southern California for years.

He was Samoa Joe's original trainer and also helped start wrestlers Tom Howard, a former star in Japan, and Mikey Henderson, who was a guy who showed a lot of promise during that same period as a regular opponent of Christopher Daniels.

Joe wrote on Twitter, "Beyond destroyed right now. RIP Big Hardcore Cincinnati Red. My trainer, my mentor, my friend."

Rey Rey must be feeling so bad and guilty,It obviously was just a tragic accident but he may be devvasted right now. I'd be considering instant retirement and especially if I had Rey's major bad luck leading to this.

The video of it is all over youtube. Nobody knew Pero Aquayo had died and simply thought he passed out,Even when he has being taken away you could tell everybody assumed he was just unconscious but you can now definetly tell the moment when he passed away!

Someone made this inspired by Wrestling isn't Wrestling:

Another video of the Mysterio incident last night has been posted. This time, from another angle and it shows the dropkick from Mysterio that caused Perro Aguayo to land neck first on the rope. And he goes limp right after.

He didn't die in the ring. All the reports I'm seeing have him dieing hours later at 1 am the next day at the hospital. The injuries that killed him happened in the ring, but he wasn't dead.

Bryan and Dave talk about the passing of Perro Aguayo Jr.
[YT]3TeJuhrs2cg[/YT]

Dave was e-mailed by a few professional paramedics and from their perspectives, he died right when the spot happened.

This whole situation is almost exactly like what happened to Misawa in 2009. One freak accident.

And to think they were gonna set up Alberto El Patron and Aguayo as the next big money feud for AAA. :( What a terrible week it's been for the promotion.

RIP El Hijo Del Perro Aguayo. I didn't even hear about this news, but it's tragic. Like Nolan said, seems like the same deal as Misawa, where it's a freak accident. RIP Cincinnati Red as well...

I go into this thread about to give my thoughts on the Grave Consequences match, LU and NXT, then read this. Damn.

I'm going to post it later.

I don't understand why they didn't immediately pull him off the rope when it was apparent that he was unconscious. When his partner moved him, he just moved him to the bottom rope in an awkward position and left him that way.

Konan was standing right in front of him, it was obvious something was wrong, you can see Rey stops and look at Konan as if he's saying "Shouldn't we stop?" but gets ignored.

That's very fitting for Randy. :woot:

That's not PG!!! :hmr:

****** week for the guy who died as well.

So Lucha Underground is introducing a Trios Championship at some point; that's pretty cool. It's interesting that LU is so different from WWE, and yet it's better at the things WWE supposedly cares about the most, character development and stories.

Yay for non-intelligence insulting Sports Entertainment! I also wonder when they'll start up a full-fledged Women's division. Sexy Star, Catrina, and Ivelisse are fantastic as it is, but I would love it if they were able to add a few more ladies. Since there's Intergender Matches in LU, Candice LeRae would be perfect for this promotion.

Too bad they didn't mention the whole Punk situation on Wrestling Isn't Wrestling, especially considering that they had a girl dressed like him.

So NXT was great. Owens against Riley was pretty solid, and I really liked the way they showed the animosity between them at the start of match. Breeze/Kalisto was a solid match as well, and I hope that Breeze eventually changes his finisher to something else. Bliss/Banks for the title next week should be good, this match was a good teaser and their previous match was good as well. I can't wait for Owens and Balor next week.

Re-watched Ibushi/Naito and Ibushi/Goto....too ****ing good.

LU continues to be the best show on a weekly basis this was no exception. Big Ryck put on a pretty solid match. Konnan's chess promo was excellent. Drago and Aerostar continue to put on great matches, while keeping them different enough from each time they square off against one another. What is there to say about Grave Consequences? It was an amazing match. It's possibly one of the best casket matches and you could really feel like it was not tacked on "just because." The entire match was excellent from start to finish. MotYC for sure. I recommend everyone to check it out. It's really that good.

EDIT:
Heard good things about Angle/Lashley's match. I'm going to check that out later.

Kurt Angle and Bobby Lashley had a very solid main event on Impact last night and the show as a whole was good.

All the WWE's problems start right at the tippy top.

:hehe:

Basically. That Reddit post about Roman Reigns is so spot on, it's depressing. And thank the wrestling gods that the thread title was changed.

Also, R.I.P. to Aguayo. My goodness, that just illustrates perspective on how professional and athletic these men and women truly are. One slip up can have drastic consequences.
