Potential Wrestlemania spoilers from MetsFan4ever on Reddit. Grain of salt recommended:

After talking to a few people today at the SmackDown tapings word going around is that Brock Lesnar is very close to agreeing on a new contract with the WWE. With the lack of popularity that Roman Reigns has received as of late, Triple H is pushing Vince on the idea of keeping the WWE Championship on Brock.

This would also have huge ramifications with two of the under card matches on the show.

If Brock retains the title it would in all likelihood mean a continued "special attraction schedule" for him. Triple H as of late has been big on the idea that the I.C. Title and the U.S. Title should mean something again. The plan, if Brock retains is to put the U.S. Title on John Cena and the I.C. Title on Daniel Bryan. The theory would be that two legit Superstars would bring legitimacy to both titles. Also, while Brock is gone both men can main event Raw, Smackdown, PPVs and house shows with those titles on top of the card. Which again, would bring back the legitimacy of both belts.

A lot can change between now and WrestleMania. But this is just one of the many ideas that are being discussed. I have not been told of any other ideas, but if I hear more, I will be sure to pass the information along to this great community.

That would be the best possible scenario to come out of WM. I just do not have enough faith in HHH to convince Vince that it's the best way to go. It's important to remember that the clock is also ticking on Rollins cash in. He's only got 3 months left to cash in. I really want to see a Lesnar/Rollins 1 on 1 match at some point.

SPOILERS – WWE SMACKDOWN TAPINGS RESULTS (3/19)

WWE taped this week’s episode of SmackDown on Tuesday night from Kansas City, Missouri.
– The show opens with Roman Reigns’ music. He makes his way to the ring and is greeted with a mixed reaction, including some “You can’t wrestle” chants. Mark Henry interrupts him and unlike last week, puts Reigns over. Seth Rollins, Kane and J&J security interrupt them, with Kane talking down to Reigns and Rollins teasing that he could cash in his MITB contract at WrestleMania. Rollins says Randy Orton won’t be on the show tonight. Kane announces that in tonight’s main event, he’ll team up with Rollins against Reigns and Henry.
– Paige defeated Brie Bella in a quick match with a roll-up pin. AJ Lee was on commentary and Nikki Bella was at ringside.
– Intercontinental Contenders Gauntlet Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Stardust started off, with Ambrose getting the quick win. He attacked Ambrose after the pinfall. R-Truth came out next, beat up Stardust and threw him out of the ring. Ambrose returned the favor by delivering Dirty Deeds for the win. Luke Harper was next and eliminated Ambrose. Daniel Bryan then came out to a big pop and got a submission win on Harper. Dolph Ziggler is the final entrant and got another big pop, the crowd is really into the match. After some exciting back and forth action and several near falls, Dolph Ziggler won the gauntlet match after hitting Bryan with the Zig Zag.
– Bad News Barrett came out and cut a promo. He knocked out Ziggler, blocked a running knee from Daniel Bryan and hit him with a microphone. Barrett nailed Bryan and Ziggler with Bullhammers.
– Backstage, J&J security was shown guarding the arena entrance to prevent Randy Orton from entering.
- Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Natalya defeated Los Matadores and El Torito after Natalya powerbombed Torito. After the match, as Cesaro and Tyson Kidd were celebrating with the tag titles, Natalya took Tyson’s belt and held it in the air.
– Up next is the main event featuring Roman Reigns and Mark Henry vs. Seth Rollins and Kane.
– Up next is the main event, Roman Reigns and Mark Henry vs. Seth Rollins and Kane. Roman Reigns was out first. Mark Henry’s music hit, but he never appeared. On the big screen, Henry was shown laid out backstage. Rollins and Kane came out with J&J security and extra reinforcements. Rollins and Kane beat down Roman Reigns as the crowd chanted for Randy Orton. Reigns eventually fought back against Rollins and Kane, hitting Rollins with a Superman punch and Kane with a spear on Kane for the win. Reigns celebrated until Rollins came back in the ring.
Randy Orton’s music hit and the place went nuts. Orton cleaned house, delivering RKO’s to all of the heels except Rollins, who managed to escape. Reigns and Orton celebrated as SmackDown ended.

Please do this.

[BLACKOUT]Then you can give Reigns another much needed year to be the guy, or have more time to decide if he's the best choice (depending on if he develops enough).[/BLACKOUT]

How do you legitimize any title when Vince himself said the WWE Title doesn't matter anymore?

That Wrestling Isn't Wrestling video was so awesome.

Wow....Japanese legend and old NJPW mainstay Tatsumi Fujinami is getting inducted into the HOF this year. He's wrestled guys like Hogan and Vader but I wonder who'll induct him.

That Max Landis video really is awesome though. What's funny is I have always thought very highly of Triple H when it comes to WWE but I think that video was a very funny and visual representation of the statement that Triple H was never the guy but the guy who fought the guy. They try to sell him as THE MAN from that era but he wasn't. Stone Cold and The Rock were both The Man, and he was their Lex Luthor. I think that's why the build to Mania is kind of funny. I'm like, dude you didn't take out WCW on your own. You were important as heck to it though, but Austin you weren't!

I think it will depend if Lesnar will resign or not. If he resigns then that pretty much doesn't put the title on a man who just isn't ready toi run with the title right now in Roman Reign

Just realized Cena Vs. Rusev wasn't on the old school version of the WM poster. I guess WWE doesn't care about the match either, lol.

please, Please, PLEASE make this happen! I would forgive creative for Bryan fiasco if they do it!

I never mentioned this and it's like 2 days late now so it's kinda pointless , but I might as well get it out now:

The ending of Raw this past week ruled. I am actually......interested in HHH/Sting now despite the 14 years too late "WWE vs. WCW" angle. Can't say I am really looking forward to it, but it has my interest at the very least.

Too bad Ambrose didn't kick him hard enough to get him off the announce team. Seriously, JBL sucks. I can't believe people like him and think he's the only good announcer.

Very accurate portrayal of Cena in that video.

Layfield is great on commentary when he's not having to spew McMahon's promotional garbage. Listen to his match work on Smackdown from 8, 9 years ago and you can hear the difference big time. Say what you will about JBL, but I'll take him over Cole any day of the week.

JBL (rightfully) gets a lot of ****, but Jerry Lawler....Oh boy.

Hate to be that guy, but I think all this user did was listen to an audio from PWInsider's Elite section and copied ideas they hoped to see and passed it off as a "rumor".

I'm an elite subscriber and Dave Scherer and Mike Epesenhart said this almost word for word. All they were doing is shooting the crap about what WWE should do.

This guy in particular used to work for the WWE and has a lot of friends there he keeps in contact with. He's been right on a lot of stuff in the past.

We love the angle in spite of Haitch. Just admit it. Sting could be feuding with Ryback and we'd still mark out for him due to the novelty.

And speaking of Sting, I used to hate his new entrance music and wondered why the hell they didn't use his Crow theme. But I actually really like it now. Damn, Vince forced me to like something.

They need to put Regal on commentary. He is fantastic. And he's Haitch's boy, too.
