World I Miss X-men Evolution!!!!!

Evolution really grew on me. Just as I feel it's getting to the best point, they pull the plug. :(

Why did they stop airing it? It was getting so good!

I know:( I think they could have went further into the Phoenix saga in the next season....

Apparently, when shows based on comics do well its mandatory for them to pull them off the air. However they dont do this with other successful shows like Pokemon or anything.

I don't know off hand why Kid's WB didn't renew X-Men Evolution. They had contracted 52 episodes and even after an 8 month gap of reruns and haitus before the last 12 episodes were shown, the ratings were still pretty decent (for anything non-Pokemon at the time, anyway). But despite the cult status they never renewed for another season. In fact, the last 12 episodes (which was the end of Season 3 and the entire Season 4, which had 9 episodes) have never been reaired...anywhere.

It still seems to be the intention to peddle the series out on DVD, since the most recent one, which has the end of Season Two, came out at the end of November.

WB hasn't been exactly flawless in the distribution or handling of some of their series.

I agree, the show was getting good (although Season Four had it's share of bungles) and ended on a high note. The finale even gave an excellent reason for totally revamping the show a bit for a Season Five, but it was an option not taken.

if the show was still on, I was hoping to see an episode where Magma and Pyro 1st meet and possibly fall for each other

Man I miss the show too, it was really getting good and then they discontinue it... sucks.

they used to show it on kids central rite? So hard to believe it was replaced by ninja turtles....WTH!!

Ninja turtles?! X Men Evolution is way better. Well for me at least. :)

If there was actually some smart person out there, they would start making X Men evolution again if they know what's best for them :p I mean didn't they get high ratings for this show, who wouldn't watch it?

Seriously and my hopes were so high! I wanted more Moonstar!

I am assuming that the majority of the people missing x-men evolution is young because this cartoon in no way represents any of the x-men characters in the books. And it is misleading so many viewers into believing that these storylines appeared in the x-books. If you want a better understanding of what I am talking about then watch the family channel. Because they are currently showing the x-men cartoon according to how it is written in the books.

I don't want to get into TMNT here. I love the show adamently and don't want to bring this topic on the wrong course.

I think it's a bit dumb to not air Evolution anywhere, yet peddle out the DVD's. Reruns would at least allow new fans to discover it and likely boost sales. It works for other shows (especially dubbed anime), so why not do it here?

Evolution had a lot of potential and it's a shame it had to go. But at least it ended on a peak.

It isn't good to assume. Kinda why you got ate alive in the FF forums. For assuming things about Jessica Alba and not backing them with facts:o

Anyhow, I probably know as much as you do about the comics and I definetely have read and own a lot of the comics. I am 16 and know that what is put on TV isn't always accurate. And I don't think the creators of X-men Evolution really wanted to be accurate. They just wanted to take the X-men Universe and create something orginal, which they did.

to those around the area, cartoon network is airing x-men evolution in mexico, saturdays at 2pm and sundays at 3am
