I need some serious help (Thor related)

So I was watching Thor 1 yesterday. This is one of my favorite MCU films. My brother (a pretend MCU fan since Civil War) casually starts watching and says "the dark elves?" when the frost giants enter Asgard to try to kill Odin. He also asked if the movie was over after Thor killed the Destroyer.

What are my options here? I was raging on the inside!
