The Question said:
Were you able to create your ideal DC universe, what would it be like? Meaning, what stories would you keep? What stories would you ditch? What characterizations and power levels would you choose? I've *****ed about by opinions in regards to such matters incessantly for months. Now it's time for your voices to be heard. Mainly because, for the duration of this thread, I'm shutting up.
Superman - Bring him back to basics, just a little. He won't be moving planets, but he'd be almost there. Really, the best characterization of Supes that I've ever seen comes from Hitman #3, or something like that. Sometimes, he doesn't have what it takes. Sometimes, he feels so weak..
Teen Titans - OYL has been an incalculable dissapointment to me, in the destruction of everything that I liked about Kid Devil. I probably wouldn't even have him as a Titan, but he's be back in the suit (as seen in YJ).
Offspring is the only person I'd want on the team who isn't already. And by Offspring, I mean Plastic Man's kid. I'd use the characterization of Offspring from
The Kingdom, though; Serious and whatnot
Robin - Jason Todd is the Red Hood, but I'd change it up; He's roughly the same age (physically, at least) as he was when he died, and sets his sights more on Tim, more for symbolism than anything else. I'd also give Tim a more extensive rogues gallery. Firebug is the only one I can think of at the moment
Speedy - I cannot write about Speedy. I'll keep him the way he is, 'cept I'd call him "Speedy" again, since there was nothing wrong with that name.
Secret Six - I feel the use of the name "Secret Six" to be arbitrary; In the Original Six, there were only six, with Mockingbird being among them. Here, there are seven at any given time, as Mockingbird is a separate entity entirely. First, I'd follow up on the Fiddler's death. Isaac Bowen was cursed. As such, he cannot ascend to the ethereal plane, and choses to bug Deadshot about how he'll never be rid of him. Second... I have no second. Eh.
