I Spit On Your remake!

Yes it was. I love revenge movies, and this one is right up there in my top 5. Each of the kills was awesomely executed. I can't say for certain who suffered the worst out of the 5 guys.

I still would like to know what she did with the Sherrif's daughter. I guess it's up to the audience to decide.

I recently picked this up and am looking foward to checking it out. I never saw the original, but I heard some good stuff about this version.

Finally got around to watching this and I thought it was actually pretty good. I love a good revenge flick and this definitely fits. Absolutely not for everyone, though. There were some tough scenes to watch.

^That's what made it 'special'................

I've said some of this in another thread but here we go...

The main thing that the film got wrong was it's portrayal of the woman as a sexy girl. The actress is really hot and the entire film she's hanging around in her bra and panties or wearing some ridiculously tight spandex...and I'm thinking "when is this chick going to get naked???? Then the rape scene comes and she gets naked...maybe I'm a freaking weirdo...but it didn't have the impact on me that it should have because I was kind of happy that she was naked...I didn't get that feeling from the first, and I saw that as a teenager...

Otherwise, it was your basic modern horror...the music (as always) is overbearing and obnoxious and the acting is a few notches below Oscar contender...

There were moments...like...how did that skinny chick lift those two guys and carry them all the way to their traps??? But the movie is called I Spit On Your Grave...you really shouldnt bother with asking those questions from a movie that will be so paper thin anyway...

Not really an emotional ride for me...and I thought that some of her lines during the revenge scenes were just awful...but overall it was enjoyable.

There was definitely a large amount of suspension of disbelief required with this movie, but I didn't find it too distracting. That girl would have a had a very difficult time moving those dudes around, especially after nearly starving in the woods. I still liked those traps/revenges that she set up.

I saw the original, and this remake is actually not that bad. However, it is strange how the girl was able to evade the detection of all the guys who were looking for her body after she fell to the river, and even came back with a bullet-proof plan to seek revenge on all the people who almost murdered her. But I guess you can't think too hard in a movie like this.

How does this remake hold up compared to the original? I enjoyed this version, is the original worth checking out? I'm kind of curious now.
