I'm kind of intrigued about the activity of the books and literature section. I'd love to share and speculate on some popular novels. Plus, might serve to motivate me to read faster than I have found myself reduced to.

That's what I assumed. A lot of stuff is going to be hard to join in the discussion of due to the sheer size of this community.

yeah we do have a large number of book fans.
 
I know, it's kind of a nice change. Does anyone know if there's any S.M. Stirling fans? I've been looking for some to participate in some Emberverse I and II discussions.

Never heard of it, what's it about? If it's interesting enough, might add it to my Netflix queue and watch it sometime. Did the same with Rubber. Never regretted it.
 
I thought I cleared the blockage in my air conditioner, the device stopped dripping for nearly 12 hours.
Then it barfed again.

Damn that sucks! I will. I'll have a good time for both our sakes :P You do the same on Tuesday and Wednesday for me xD

Waking up and starting my day off with a mix just puts me in the best mood. No recording, no set tracks, just go and see what happens. Some really awesome stuff. Really puts me in the right frame of mind. And I love having this new controller so I have all my faders and knobs to mess with too.
 
The only thing I'm looking forward to today is the Doom Panel at QuakeCon.
 
Who here is a fan of chicken and yellow rice? I love that stuff and plan on making it for dinner tonight. Never made it myself before but it seems easy enough. I also had sweet peas to it as well.
 
I'm not a huge fan of rice. I'm Irish, so I prefer potatoes as my side dish for pretty much 98% of my meals.
