I have Five guys an BGR joint near me, so I was willing to try it. They have coupons, but even with coupons, they're very expensive. I'm a foodie, but I don't crap dollar bills, either. I like 5 Guys, but I don't go there often. I can afford it, but I mainly go because their burgers are cooked well. Unless it's a sit down place like Red Robin, I refuse to pay more than 8 dollars for a burger. Even then, it had better be part of a combo.

FB! Welcome back chica! I'm surprised to hear they have 5 Guys over there, they are a bit pricey but damn good. I try to eat at local joints as much as I can if I'm eating out. We have so many of them out here, it baffles me that folks go to these chains when they could get a much better meal for the some price and support local business

I love Elevation Burger! We don't have it near us anymore, but their cookies are to die for.

I'd like to support local business as well, but near my house, it's all Walmart and chain stores. Local stuff is further out in the city. My favorite local place has El Salvadorean food, which I love.

Five guys is way overpriced. I can make a much better burger at my house for a fraction of the cost they charge fo their burgers and fries and drink.

When I moved to Clearwater I was homeless and my tent was near a BK so I ate there for dinner pretty much every night and washed it down with a 4 pack of tall boys. BK burgers just taste like poverty to me now haha

They're pretty darn good, but I've had way better burgers from local joints. The good thing about 5 Guys is you can get a ton of toppings. If I go there my burger is so messy that I require numerous napkins
