Anyone here ever get swatted? My friend is an up and coming video game Twitch streamer and got swatted yesterday evening. I thought that police had cracked down on those who did those prank calls. It's seriously dangerous and scary when a Swat team comes in you home with real guns pointed at you.

This is just one of the many reasons I dont bother playing online. Too many juvenile asshats. They can trace the IP address and phone number of whoever swatted your friend. I hope it was some teenager who doesnt realize they can tell who called it in. He's gonna be crying for his mommy like a litle ***** when they come for his ass.

If your friend can determine who called it in he can report the guy to twitch and he will be banned. Microsoft and Sony also ban swatters too Im pretty sure.

I don't mind playing online but I never really use a mic and I usually suck to so no one gets mad at my mad skillz.

Well, it all depends. If you get a kid who knows what they are doing and uses an IP scrambler there is basically no recourse for finding who did it. That's why it got so popular because the ones first doing it knew how to do it without getting caught. But again people who do that are losers of the biggest kind

Im still running Windows 7 Premium. I ran Windows XP until 2013. So Ill pobably upgrade to Windows 10 sometime in the next decade.
