I have this friend. She and I are very close. I'm not attracted to her or anything, but we're really great friends. And something hit me not too long ago when I was thinking about her: I love her. I mean I really, truly love her. I would give anything for her without a moment's hesitation. And the reason this perplexes me is because we're not in a relationship, and we're not related.
