The Millennium Man! The Master and Ruler of The World!

You mean the ones where Andre gains an extra 100 pounds every time?![]()
I agree with a lot of what Bret says, but I think his ego is showing in his statement about the top 50 stars list. Don't get me wrong, a lot of that list was bs, and Bret was better in ring, but just because he beat Austin in their matches doesn't mean he's the bigger star. I don't see how anyone can claim Bret meant more to the WWE or was a bigger star or draw than Austin.
Oh Bret.![]()
I love how the making up between him and Shawn is always put over by him as his grand gesture and him doing such a great thing for Shawn.
Then he thinks his match with Vince was perfect? It went on waaaaaayyyyy too long.
Then the stuff with Austin, yes Bret you got the wins in worked matches over Austin, but when you do a list like that things other than the predetermined results matter.
It's sad how little humour or humility he has, ironically the total opposite of Austin. Many have said he struggles to separate reality and the business and I think he confirms it in nearly every interview.
Fitting choice as him and Lord Humongous were about the same level when it came to promos!![]()
I swear Bret is such a mark sometimes. He sounds so ridiculous talking about how many times he beat Austin.
are they still doing the anonymous RAW GM thing, now that Triple H has an onscreen presence as the COO?
For some reason they still have the laptop setup every week on Raw though. Makes me wonder if they'll do something with it again later on or if someone forgot to tell the guys who set up the ringside area that they don't need to keep setting that up anymore. It finally died a death so quiet that half this thread and most of the WWE universe have yet to notice.

They just randomly dropped it. A year of dealing with that nonsense and no payoff. good one... wwe.

Eh , they probably just forgot about it. It's still not to late to drop it though. The Raw GM situation has been a mess for years. I remember Shawn Michaels was GM and only showed up once in a while. They could just have Triple H mention it at some point.
You mean GM or when he was Commissioner (more or less the same damn thing)?
Oh yeah , lol. I think it went from President to commissioner and now it's just GM.
I think Bret just takes it TOO seriously sometime. And I noticed that about his discussion of Michaels too. Bret talks like he cured Shawn Michaels of cancer AND absolved him of all his sins! Shawn MUST be indebted to him for life now![]()
Pretty sure that unlike Sid Humongous always knew the difference between live and taped promos!![]()
Yeah but a GM usually just appears on one brand.
You mean GM or when he was Commissioner (more or less the same damn thing)?
Back when they started calling the authority figure "commissioner" it seemed like just a random word they picked because it implied authority.
"General Manager" on the other hand kind of made sense when they introduced it. They began when Vince first got full ownership back from Flair, and he needed someone on each brand to run the daily operations of the shows. Since they were still acting as if the brands were totally separate and in competition with each other, it made sense for him to appoint a "GM" to be in charge of each show while he oversaw the company as a whole.
Well, I just heard that Smackdown may have some cable competion on Friday Nights with the Ultimate Fighter
