Sequels Iceman in x-men: first class??

Since he wasn't an x-men until the end of x2, what would iceman's roll be in the x-men prequel?? (if it is a prequel, that is)

None, at most he could be a really really young student, depending on the age of Jean, Cyclops, Storm, and Beast.

This isn't the first class of the comics. This is the first class of the movies...which would Cyclops, Storm, Jean, and Beast. They are not literally adapting the title with the original 5. It's not a reboot. It's a prequel with the movieverse originals, which from inference and spoken lines are known so far to be Cyclops, Storm, Jean and Beast.

i see. i guess that makes sence. well i still would have liked it hte other way, w/ angel and iceman. (even tho storm bassically has both of they're abilities) but as long as cyclops is the main char im happy!

Cyclops,Jean,Storm,and Beast could be walking through the park and bobby would be with his family. Bobby's powers activate and there is snow everywhere. His parents are scarred of him and want nothing to do with him. Jean is sad for the poor mutant boy. Professor can sense Jeans sadness and after viewing the situation through Jeans eyes he posses her and erases the memories of everyone around except for the X-Men.

Just scratch what i said and do something like Ultimate X-Men #1. Ice(man/boy) could just have a cameo.

The X-Men could be fighting Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in the park and when young Bobby see Quicksilver circling one of the X-Men to the point they are having trouble breathing his powers activate and he freezes Quicksilver in his place.

I can see it now... Gambit charges Wolverine's adamantium claws and makes him explode from the inside out. And when Wolverine reforms again, he whipes his face in frustration like Curly of The Three Stooges - because he can't outsmart Gambit, Gambit turns around and does it again to him.

the most likely scenario is that Fox is considering making a First Class based on the already established film continuity, so that would be Scott, Jean, Ororo, and Hank. it seems very unlikely that Bobby would be included in this movie in any way because he is at least 15-20 yrs younger than anyone on that roster.

1) Even in the comics, It's true that Bobby was the youngest member of the X-Men, BUT he also had more control over his powers than any of the others. Check out UXM #1 if you want proof.

2) The "blinking" kid that changed the television channel in X2 couldn't have been older than 10 or 12years old and living in the mansion, and he seemed to have control over his powers...

So why would it be inconceiveable for Bobby to be in this movie, and show his abilities at a younger age similar to that "blinking" kid? In X2 he even told his mother that he could do a lot more with his powers when he froze the coffee cup. Which I'm sure took many years to perfect these abilities. So that statement alone proves that despite the age he was when he made that statement, he was doing stuff with his powers for some time.

the whole idea of the First Class limited series was to show the original students as they were teenagers, so if Fox is planning to go forward with this project (without reestablishing a new contuity) it would be telling the teenage adventures of the movie's first students- Cyclops, Jean, Storm, and Beast. its obvious Bobby is much younger than his teachers (lets say 17-18 againts their 30) so it would be IMPOSSIBLE for him to walk and talk let alone fight alongside his teenage professors.

who says they even have to be teenagers? it could just be about when the team was formed for the 1st time. i mean theres already enough diferences if there using the movie roster, so if the just made it like 3 years b4 the 1st xmen that could work 2. so even if hes not an official member he could still be in it.
