IESB: Welling out of the running for JLA Superman

That's ridiculous reasoning. Just because they didn't say it literally does not mean it's not their Justice League.

And because Clark encountered a young Oliver Queen and his gang, that thereby means his Superman (years later) can't be associated with a real Justice League with Batman, Wonder Woman, and the lot?

How would Tom Welling's Superman serve on the JL in Smallville with Bart/Impulse to then serve with Bart's grandfather Barry before Barry even has children to have Bart?

You lost me.

Seems to me you're trying to use continuities that have never been established in any movie-verse or TV-verse, nor do we even know if said continuities will ever be established.

That invisible string is called a contract.:cwink:

And if the movie division wanted Tom Welling and his "contract", they could get him. They've displayed countless times their power over the television division.

You asked a question, and you gave an answer that was wrong.

No. It's your opinion that it's wrong. Again, where's the fact?

Majik. I'm just curious. If Tom Welling were to be Superman in JL, would that stop you from seeing it? Remember, I said 'IF'. :oldrazz:

Let me again state for the record that I'm not saying Welling is the choice. I just feel that he makes sense as a choice, and that the continuity between Smallville and this new world they're creating for Justice League shouldn't be that big of a deal, especially considering Warner Bros. has already displayed how much they care about continuity by having multiple big screen Batmen and Supermen in the same film era.

Cool, Majik. I was just asking because you know how there are some people who will not see a movie just because they didn't get who they want?

Have you figured out you're long awaited casting choices yet?

Well I've stated that I do like MEW, Common, Cotrona and Duhamel for their rumored roles. Other than that, no I don't have my choices at the moment.

And I know what kind of people you're talking about, I'm not one of those people who'll avoid a movie because I didn't get the person I wanted.

It's more of what WB is doing as opposed to what Tom can do.

But you're making all this concrete assertions and trying to make them sound like fact. If they really wanted Welling and he wanted the part, they wouldn't give a crap about Smallville. They've already proved they don't give a crap about their other film properties.

^ Yeah, I thought so, Majik. You're alright, mate.

Duhamel would be a great Superman, imo.

I was giving WB the benefit of the doubt.:csad:

BTW, I wasn't really serious about anything I been debating, I was just bored.:woot:

I do think there's a bit of a continuity thing, but what can I do about it. :-\

I first saw him in Venom, it was a meh horror movie, but the acting was pretty good for it minus one actress. He had a Bruce Wayne vibe which is why I kinda like him for the role of Batman, plus he's got the look.

lol Thank you for not being a crazed Smallville fanatic though, I'm too tired to deal with one of those.:yay:

Ad yes, that Venom Jake.

I found it an underrated horror movie when we have all these other crap horror movies taking it's thunder.

It also has Bijou Philips, a "contender" for Wonder Woman and/or Talia.:oldrazz:

4-5 million vewers isn't much. If Smallville was on a real network, 4-5 million viewers would equal cancellation.

4 - 5 million viewers out of 300 million people in America. It doesn't even last long on Australia. They keep trying, but nobody watches it.

Well, to be fair, if it was on a real network it would theoretically have higher ratings due to the fact that not every home gets The CW.
