IESB: Welling out of the running for JLA Superman

Sorry, not to knock on Welling, but Routh has the better hair. I mean just look at it in the above pics. Welling's hair looks oily in the above pic.

Nope. Actually have a full head of hair, not too different from Routh's hairstyle.:cwink:

The good thing about Welling is there won't be any speculations about him. People made their minds up about him seven years ago. The casting for the rest of the movie will be scrutinized to no end.

The best thing about all of this will be seeing you eat crow. Delusional fool, lol.

No, I know it sounds ridiculous, but since I'm into fashion and design I think of all that kinds of stuff. He's had better pics where his hair looks kick ass, but the above pic isn't one of them

That makes sense. YOu are pretty hard on the casting and it made me wonder.

What do you think the color scheme should be for JL, Majik. Darkened colors or bright.

I'm all for them not dulling down the colors, but I'm not saying go the neon route either. Al the members should stand out on their own yet compliment their team members. This movie has the chance to kind incorporate the comic costumes with the real world. I don't know where it started that dark colors=real world.
Regardless of the hair, Welling IS Superman...
For the Smallville universe.

First, I can't understand why am not in bed yet! Second, do Welling ears look level to you guys?

Except that they're attached to his hackalicious head...

This is my Superman :super:

I use to think everyone liked Welling. So much hate for the guy...
Heh! :hyper:

No one would have believed in the last days before an official announcement that this forum was being watched keenly and closely by users greater in number than those present and yet as mortal as their own; that as users busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinized and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a fan with a computer might scrutinize the microfibers that exist in a Superman costume. With infinite complacency users went to and fro over this forum about their little affairs, serene in the assurance of their empire over fandom. It is possible that the geeks in other forums do the same. No one gave a thought to the older franchises of Warners as sources of potential danger, or thought of them only to dismiss the idea of another actor being cast as Superman as impossible or improbable. It is curious to recall some of the posting habits of those departed days. At most, Superman fans fancied there might be other fans in cyberspace, perhaps inferior to themselves and ready to welcome a missionary franchise. Yet across the gulf of the Internet, fanatical fans that are to our fanship as ours are to those of films that bomb, fanships vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this forum with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us...

:p

the good thing? its not like everyone on the world likes him. so its a good thing that if he is cast that the ones who didnt like him wont like him now?
