...would it make your life easier or harder knowing for a fact he is real?

well that means I was just raptured.

which for me would be great.

for the rest of the world.....not so much.

uhm. No. How the hell would it make it harder or easier? I'd probably flip him off and say "Thanks alot" in such a sarcastic manner that he'd be force to feel dejected.

I would ask Him why I haven't gotten my period yet.

Easier, much, much easier. If there's no God, then what's it all for?

No. God reveals himself to you one day then you have to about your life for another 40 years knowing for a fact he is real.

It would be like taking the red pill in the Matrix. Suddenly you can't enjoy life as much because you know the truth.

How would that make you not enjoy life as much?

"Darn, God is real. Guess I should stop murdering people and committing adultery and all that. Lame!"

Only I would think having solid evidence that God exists would be the exact opposite. The freedom to enjoy the rest of your life, comfortable in the knowledge that there is more.

On a more serious note, I think that if God appeared to mankind, it would provide the last reason for opposing religious fundamentalists to launch their final jihad against the Western religions. Whether or not God would stop it would be a different story.

No matter what form God appeared in, it would result in 2/3rds of the population of the planet feeling at a loss as to who they worship. If He took the form of Allah, a nuclear world war would follow as it would be evidence that sacrificing oneself resulted in going to Heaven, being rewarded with 72 virgins and all that. If He took the form of God or Buddha or something, it would result in a definite identity crisis for millions of Muslims...

If God revealed Himself, it would completely undermine the principles of faith upon which all religion is based.

Can I talk to him? Ask him some hardhitting questions?

would kind of destroy the whole principle behind "faith"

in fact, that would kind of be like the antichrist showing up proclaiming himself to be the messiah returned...

but to answer your question as you posed it, it wouldnt change anything. my response would be like "am i that cool, that you couldnt just wait for me to get there?"

I feel it would be harder as there would be some daunting task for you to prove your faith to him...as most of the biblical revealings tell.

But a lot of people don't believe in God at all so this point is moot.

God's already revealed himself to me. Things have been easier since then. Question answered.

But if you know for a fact that God exist then you will see the limitations of every simple thing you enjoy. You will be bored and unfulfilled by a simple life knowing it's just the tip of the iceberg.

It will be difficult to prove to others that you have seen god, which is what most people do when they see him and you will have a hard time for the rest of your life..... enough said

God revealed himself to you in an indirect way. If he spoke to you face to face it would shake the very basis of your reality.

It would be like discovering your parents were shapeshifting aliens then going back to your daily routine.

God reveals Himself to me everyday, through word, prayer, thought and creation.

Well, I'd definitely feel pretty bummed out if I had to live another two or three hundred years, but 60-80 isn't so bad.
