IMO, it looks stupid. I don't say that to be insulting, I have just never liked it. It should be grey and black. That's how Bob Kane designed him, and that's how he should be. (I don't mind that they lost the purple gloves, though. LOL)

I kinda would look to see a grey on black look for bats this time around to make it totally different from past bat films/nolan's films so it would be more ovious to general audiences this is a separate thing.

I say they'd work fine, just use more stylish looking material al la the Spider-Man, Superman Returns, Fantastic 4, and Daredevil costume materials. (not an endorsement on those films, BTW).
