If the JLA gets Made how would you design the Costumes?????

Agreed, guys.

If you've ever seen one of the catalogues that the costume makers order the materials from than you know that there are literally hundreds of styles/designs/materials options to choose from. It doesn't have to be "Adam West VS Tim Burton". :)

yea i was just saying the spidey/fantastic four material route would be good way to go but if there is other better materials out there they if it works i am fine with that.

oh ok. I was thinking more drastic tho, like leather, or rubber suit (minus the nipples).

nah we dont need rubber suits there is tons and tons of materials out there. I cant really think of any since i know nothing in costume design i am a communications major but i am for behind the scenes stuff/editing/camera work area.

I'm surprised more people don't like this. I think the aquaman and WW look awesome and less of joke than the traditional looks. MM looks really cool, and i like supermans' colors.

i'm not saying rubber specifically, just an example. I'm just saying iwouldn't mind them experimenting to see what they can come up with.

Nice image, Jordacar! Kinda inspired me to post this pic i've made a few months ago, also using the microheroes to create the costumes of the Justice League the way i'd want them to look for a live action movie...

Orion these are exactly what I want the JL to look like in the film. However, I think Wonder Woman should only be fully garbed in Amazonian armor (cape, sheild, spear, etc) in the film's climax.

And I don't really like the ridges on GL's costume. I don't get what they are?

I say they'd work fine, just use more stylish looking material al la the Spider-Man, Superman Returns, Fantastic 4, and Daredevil costume materials. (not an endorsement on those films, BTW).
no i disagree, using spandex and the weird tones and colors ross uses woud not translate well into film. i'd rather see wonder woman and aquaman with real armor, and flash/GL/MM/Superman/batman with thicker fabric (thicker than FF) or leather like Xmen and Daredevil

So what exactly makes Spider-Man's costume any different than those of the JLA members?

Treat the iconic looks with respect, and invest in good designers and material. That's all the JLA movie costumes need.

Why don't people want to use WW's classic costume. She's iconic. It's not like people are gonna be shocked by the skimpiness. They expect her to look like that.

i can't take her seriously. She's supposed to be a warrior queen, something like xena. can't take her seriously in a star-spangled underwear. but that's just me. I prefer teh war-skirt or even something chun li style. (tip of my tongue, can't think of the word)

If the character is to be taken seriously, the outfit has to reflect it, you can get away with the star spangled swimsuit on the page coz of the medium, but is laughable in a live action film sense, no matter what type of material is used. I think the battle skirt / armoured suit look is a far better suited for a live action version, as long as the colour scheme and spirit of the comic design are kept, it should be acceptable.

I've always preferred the battle skirt over the star-spangled undies.

Aquaman is going to Swinn, A Armor would ne completelly strange for a Swimmer (And a fast one).

YOU can't take her seriously. To the general public, the "star-spangled underwear" is Wonder Woman. It's been accepted in comics, cartoons, and live action for decades.

On Xena, I really have my doubts about the authenticity of "war skirts." Can someone show some evidence that these things actually existed in history, and that all the Xena-WW supporters aren't just basing their position off of a fantasy TV show in the 90s?

Furthermore, just because she's Greek doesn't mean her costume has to look like armor from ancient Greece. Superman and Batman, with their capes and "underwear on the outside" sure as hell don't dress like modern Americans.

BATMAN:

Dark-grey uniforme. Leather boots and Gloves. A Cape like ''300'' and a helmed that make the head move able. No Underwear. Golden Belt and blake Bat withou Yellow elipse.

Does that matters that much?

It's just a long, side-opened star spangled skirt.

The Action Figure really didn't made Justice.

But it would be very cool/Sexy with some changes. I Think the Laço could give shocks, Lide Wonder-girl Laço.

Exactly. WW is iconic. They should just leave it alone. She's gonna be wearing the panties under the skirt anyway, right? Hehe

In the comics didn't WW first appear in a battle skirt? I know the star spangled swimsuit look hasn't always been part of the costume.
