haha...sorry. I gave it a shot using your pic, (i hope you don't mind) of what i was talking about. I also made the arms the darker shade of blue also. Not the greatest manip, but i tired my best in a quick 2-min effort.

No problem. Here is an update taking your cue and increasing the darker blue areas. Though mine brings the blue around a different way on the arms.

Change is not for everyone. I for one love Superman's original suit, but figured if we do end up with multiple versions of the character on film it might be nice to see something fresh.

I write and discuss comic book characters on a comic book forum. you can't convince me that the main stream audience knows more about wonder woman, cares more about what she looks like, or has a bigger investment in the character than I do, or anyone else here for that matter. it's so strange that i actually need to defend my geekiness. wtf? Smart-guy, make up your mind. you said the general public in the last post, so i responded to that. there was not mention of comic book writers/artists. you just totally changed your argument. By no means do i think i am higher than those that create the comic books. and guess what, while they have drawn WW with the underwear, they are starting to find excuse to have her wear other stuff.

If i were to create a comic book arc of WW, i would have her in the star-spangled underwear. but if i were to create a movie, i would use other material. this is just me. If you read my other posts, i have said countless of times that if they can make it work with the underwear, then they should by all means. I just think it will be very hard.

Its not an assertion, it's an opinion. and my logic is that she's greek, so she should have greek-inspired costume.

well if you follow the school of thought where superman's S is krytonian, then you would know that his costume is either directly given to him by jor-el, or the patterns are inspired by what was worn by his people of krypton. so he dresses like a kryptonian.

I think of batman as a super-cop. So, if you follow batman begins, his costume is something the military or a SWAT team member would wear. He is fighting crime and is a mere mortal, so he would wear gear similar to what policemen would wear. and Wayne Enterprise has a miliatry technolgy section. so he dresses like an american SWAT/soldier.

Yeah, me too. Earlier somebody posted a thing of Martian Manhunter with bare feet. While I can't come up with a reason for him to have boots, he just looks weird without them. Same with Superman's trunks.

I've drawn pictures like this myself, and it always looks great on paper. A great alternative.

Thanks, yeah I had tried that out originally, but ultimately changed it. I liked bringing the original blue from the comics onto his cape and boots better.

I think armor/battle skirt would probably be the best route to go with WW in the film. It would translate better on screen and be more believeable then the iconic/panties outfit lol. Take for example this TNA wrestling wrestler outfit and it looks good in motion and all that.
