Sequels If they used The Green Goblin in the sequels, he should look like this....

Well it's true. They made Green Goblin in sm1 look like the love child of the green ranger and robocop. Naturally, it was an unsightly, festive mess.

It didn't really look that bad, especially given the tone and the direction that they took with Osborn in the film. It was a military weapon, same for the glider, it worked. Did it look like a power ranger enemy, yes of course, did it take away from Green Goblin, no not at all. He was still recognizeable, all I'm saying is if Webb decides to use him, we should get a low-tech Goblin since we've already seen one that was pretty much high-tech

I like this costume too

The budget was the problem with the costume. They were going to go with that one amazing design we all loved, but the budget stopped them.

Yes I remember reading that, but they were holding back because they felt the film was a risk.

Good call Sony.

I love the MK Goblin's costume. Its one of my favourite versions of it because i can see this costume being transfered to a huge movie screen.

In a way I think it does look like what Raimi was trying to do with Goblin's costume, only didn't turn out so well. I like Raimi's costume, as Alchemyst said above, it worked within the context of the film, though it could have been done better yes. The only thing that really annoyed me was that the mouth never moved, and worse you could even see Norman's mouth move under the mask. if they made so the jaw would have moved, then he pretty much got the mask without the hood in the comics. Albeit not much else.

There's only so much a general audience can take before thinking something looks stupid. The classic Green Goblin Costume looks good in the comics, but on film is an entirely different matter. You've got a completely different audience to hit as well, not just the comic book fans. So in that matter, if they can do it without it screaming 'stupid' or 'what the hell is he wearing?' and i would like it to be explained why he dresses the way he does and not just simply for kicks.

This most awesome one :csad:

This should have been his costume  If Webb does do the Goblin in the future i hope it's a combination of this design and Marvel Knights Green Goblin. That would be awesome. :awesome:

I think that would be hard as f*** to pull off on film. If they can do it, it will be as great of an achievement as Tron: Legacy's suits. I love this design and I hope it happens.

The Tron costumes are awesome, but if this ever gets made on the screen this will top them definately, or any villain costume probably. And imagine it in 3D as well, having this Goblin flying at you :awesome:

Though I think the chances of them using this design are slim, and i'll think we'll get something different even for the sole fact that it doesn't look like Raimi's.

Honestly, that one doesn't address many of my complaints about the suit we got in the first place, it's just a less shiny, more busy version of it.

He seems very excited to not have any pants on.

Ok so ultimate goblin is essentially the hulk with two raging penises stuck to his head. I dont approve of this.

Not to mention the fact that the mouth doesn't appear to be movable at all either.

Oh that one! Well, to be totally honest, I don't like it that much at all. Looks way too high-tech for my taste and I miss the purble stuff. Green Goblin should look very "medieval" I think, but with lots of cool, high-tech stuff underneath all the ripped clothes.

For Spider-Man India he looks perfect
I hope this design doesn't leave the Ultimate universe, heck I wish the new USM animated series to have a normal looking Goblin if there is to be one

I really like this one particular green goblin but change it up just a tad bit and not too much!

Well that suit is essentially the Raimi suit but just with a different face. They didn't use that exact design because there were too many parts on the costume and it would have cost too much money so they simplified it.
