Sequels If they used The Green Goblin in the sequels, he should look like this....

I agree with your sentiments. However, I feel the current filmmaking team and Sony, if they use the Green Goblin again, will want, for the sake of differntiation, to make him tranform.

I want original Green Goblin glider and all. I just feel they are too shortsighted to do him twice the original way.

I hope I'm wrong.

Where did you get that feeling from? There is nothing that suggest they even want GG; yet alone what him to transform for "sake of differntiation".... what ever that mean.

^^ Eh, I was never a huge fan, lol. That's probably because I didn't watch it alot.

Ultimate Goblin will require the use of robotics, which will be unnecessary later, and I'd rather CGI
Why should the Goblin used be Ultimate? Didn't they make so many great looks for the 616 Green Goblin? I'd rather have Iron Patriot (I really really like him, best point and costume in Norman's life IMO) to Ultimate Green Goblin (I like this one a lot too)

They would never go the route of the Iron Patriot because the suit alone is basically Iron Man with a red, white, and blue motif. A move like that to an audience not familiar with that stage of Norman Osborn would instantly link that persona to Iron Man and possibly percieve it as Evil Iron Man. The Thunderbolts version of Green Goblin would be the better route to take as far as his appearance, like I stated earlier, they can use the Ultimate Goblin as a hallucination that Norman sees in his mind, especially given the fact that Goblins were a fear that he had when he was a child, so his costume is modelled after something that scared the hell out of him. Ultimate Goblin being Osborn's main appearance would make him almost similar to the Lizard, thus giving audience yet another "transformed" villain. I don't think people would want to see 2 films with both villains having similar origins.

I'm trying to use some foresight, that's what it means. Let me show you my reasoning for which you are so confused (?)

A) Why the Green Goblin? He's Spider-Man's arch nemesis, and this is a reboot. So I put two and two together there.

B) When something is done twice... like Spider-Man... they (filmmakers) will tend to DIFFERENTIATE things....

There's my reasoning. I never said it's going to happen, I explained what I think MAY happen

Love the pick!

I honestly think that it would fit perfectly in the film, it nods to the Raimi franchise Goblin by being primarily green and a nod to the comics by retaining the same material and design. I think a low-tech, less-armored Goblin would work a little bit better this time around. Funny thing about the Raimi Goblin that I just thought of...all that armor and I don't recall a single person actually shooting him :woot:

Dude, I got that....what is it based on? In otherword, what makes you think Webb will want to transform GG to differentiate? What makes you say such wild speculation?

Why is that so wild???!!!! LOL You're confusing me :yay:

Because there are two itineration of the GG, Marc Webb said he was a fan of Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man has changed the game, people reference it alot! They are making a cartoon about it! We've seen GG on the glider already!

All of that :awesome:

Yeah all that puff armor, lol

I honestly like the Raimi Green Goblin, but I have stated and still feel we got jipped cause we could have gotten better and scarier and it was still a letdown for me personally because GG is my favorite. I still have the making of book with all those cool designs. But I still like it.

I honestly disagree I don't think all low tech would be good, I want something more like the other Thunderbolts GG like we have all seen to death on this forum.

The one you posted is very reminiscent of the Alex Ross design ... kinda... sorta ??

Well, you are contributing it to him, based on what?

Because there are two itineration of the GG, Marc Webb said he was a fan of Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Spider-Man has changed the game, people reference it alot! They are making a cartoon about it! We've seen GG on the glider already!

??? Link? Never seen or read that anywhere, reason why I ask.

Well when I say low tech I mean, no retractible eye-lids, gas emitters on his wrist. He doesn't have to have a Bag of Tricks that looks like a man purse, but a messenger bag would be cool. He can still have the razor bats, pumpkin bombs and stuff like that.

Figure out what, that you just contributing some false speculation to Webb....ok guilty as charge.

There is no reason to think he would do that. That's more of your wishful thinking....and you could have just said that it was based on nothing.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was SPECULATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone else was like "well I don't think they should" "well they should" and you're like "WHERE DID YOU GET THIS FROM!!!!"

You're killin' me here!

Dude, I was asking based on what? False speculation on Webb behalf is not speculation base off some factual possibility.

Based on I had a thought "what if"

That's it! Which way they gonna go fellas... transform or reg?

You didn't say that... you stated it as if Webb had some reason to do that.
