Hey, if it works for Mrs. Doubtfire, it works for the Green Goblin.
We have a winnerOfficial Unused Green Gobling Makeup Test for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (1999) by Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc.

I think they should just fuse Green Goblin with Hobgoblin. The facial features and hood, would look a lot better on screen, than those gigantic ears with the Link hat. Anyone with me on this?

The last two images I posted are basically already an amalgamation of the two.
No Jekyl/Hyde transformations either. The best part of Norman comes from him being evil without the mask as well. He was a wolf in sheep's clothes and the Goblin persona let him live it out in public.
All this talk about the GG makes me excited to see how the GG will be portrayed in TASM.

You get someone like Willem Dafoe. A guy who is great at using facial expressions with his acting (and who looks straight up creepy) and you cover his face up with a plastic looking mask that takes that whole aspect of his performance out of the equation.
Dumb move. He should of had prosthetics, like the Orcs in LOTR .
