I cant believe you backed up Lohan's albums. Lohan was good in the Parent Trap, and yes she is a good actress but look at her now. I dont hate the girl but she's not who I would picture as Mary Jane even if she does fit the age. It is like saying Britney Spears should play Felicia, it's down right insane that you would think that Lohan should be Mary Jane. She seems like another Tara Reid, man. All her movies seem the same. It's just really ubelievable that you or any Spidey fan wants her as Mary Jane. And why in the Hell do you always mention Kirsten. I dont really care if you diss her or not but saying that she cant act is just plain crazy. She works with what is given to her. I'm looking at her character each time I watch Mary Jane and I think It's not that she doesnt like doing the Spider-Man movies, it's just that she's unhappy with the Mary Jane character. She has said in many interviews that she wanted to do more stuff and less screaming damsel in distress crap, she wants Mary Jane to be stong and to take care of herself. But whoever writes the Mary Jane character keeps on making Mary Jane so undesirable. I could be wrong but as Im watching each Spider-Man movie, I cant blame her.

1. Just because she is the age and the resemblance of MJ dont mean she should be in S-M. she cant be taken seriously, and she has no credentials.

2.Actors performances are sometimes influenced by what they have to work with, and how they r being directed. if the character is written as boring and pathetic, how else do u expect the actor to play that character?

Kirsten is payed BUCKO bucks for her role... and that should be enough for her to give it her best... hell... she SUCKED in all her movies after spider-man as well... so im not going to hear anymore excuses about "she did what she could with a badly written part"

i know shes too old to be MJ but come one she looks more like MJ then Lohan EVER did i mean all Lohan has is the red hair take the red hair from her and no one would have even thought of her, i mean Kirsten didnt look lanything like MJ as a blonde and kind of did when she had red hair. here's my problem with Kirsten....

She is not Mary Jane... a physical opposite... which is important because of the way most of us saw MJ drawn over the years.

The character they wrote for her is Gwen. This isn't her fault but she plays the role so she's not excused either.

She has made it publicly known she is sick of being acknowledged as Mary Jane or a part of the Spider-man franchise. How do I know? I've read enough interviews to read between the lines. She's a ditz when it comes to talking to the media.

The reason why I made this thread was because Lohan is a physically as close to the comic as you can get. Put aside her crappy movies... the red hair, the green eyes, the round face... her body is more Mary Jane than Kirstens.

actually.... i know absolutely no one who likes paris hilton... the only reason shes a celebrity is because she has money and is a ****e. the whole theater i saw constantine in laughed at her in the preview for the house of wax, and about half of the theater were saying how they hope she dies in it, and how they will see it only if she gets killed... NO ONE likes Paris Hilton... and for the small handful that do.. need two A) take there hand out of there pants because shes not attractive and any man could break her like a twig or B) needs serious help because shes a **** and other then a career in movies and music wich neither have been released yet... her only things she have done is slept with a guy on camera and been a **** on reality TV... she makes Jessica Simpson look like Einstein... personally from what ive noticed the majority who say no to lohan are the older fans... not saying that they have read spidey longer... but just that there age group is higher... To be honest, Dunst was doing Lohan type movies for a minute...she just recently started doing Virgin Suicides and Cat's Meow stuff as of late.
