If wolverine was recast in the future who would you like to play the part

Just watched Nick Chinlund in CON AIR, he plays Billy Bedlam. Apart from his height, he's got everything. His face and voice are a great match, though at 47 he'll be a little too old for Wolverine by the time any potential reboot rolls around. A real pity.

That's funny, I suggested him as Sabretoothe before the cast got out. He is in Chronicles of Riddick and that's when I noticed him and thought that he had the Sabretoothe grin to him.

Ya know, I'm kinda excited that in about 15-20 years, there's gonna be a whole new X-Men movie franchise with an entire new cast of actors...It'll be really cool to look forward to...With the current trend of things, I can't expect it to be that much better than the original series.

That is, assuming that 2012 will be one of the greatest hoaxes in human prophecy.

Back before X-men came out before anyone was cast when it was assumed Wolverine would be short, stocky and hairy like the comics my brother suggested Chris Benoit. I thought that was a decent choice.

Because of the clearly unlikely and hypothetical properties of this thread I gotta mention one guy who I think would rock the crap out of the Wolverine character. He can't be Wolverine though because he played the main character in another popular Marvel movie. But here he is:

Thomas Jane. See his movie Thursday. This guy always looks like he just got the crap beaten out of him. Very Wolverine. He's not pretty and broadway like "Kate and Leopold" Jackman. And he's got the badass factor to him.

Jackman was way too pretty in my opinion to play Wolverine. He's a nice guy and a good pick for Wolverine...but definitely not he best there can be at being Wolverine.

i think the hair is a bit too small, but the angle is hard to find a good of to match the thomas jane. if you ever decide to update it sometime, def dont be a stranger to lettin us know.
