Comics If you could write A character, how would you write them?

Take Storm for instant, I would normally put her as Omega, but that seems pretty stupid now. Although I hate the Black Panther crap, she would be with him, but not at his home. They would be regular's living modern day life. And as for her powers, she would not be getting tired everytime she does a feat. I won't make her almighty powerful than everyone else, but she would get over her old habit of tiring out. She would easily control other planet weather systems at her advantage as well.




As for Bobby, I would DEFINATELY make him explore his Omega abilities so that he could at least join the avengers. He will over come his playful childish moments and realize that their are bigger things in life than making stupid sculptures, . He would also NOT have that secondary mutation where he is ice all the time. He can convert, and reconvert back.



If I chose for Jean to be alive then I would have to retaliate all of her Phoenix crap so she can just stay dead for now.

I would like to write Wolverine.
I'd bring him back to basics. His healing would be toned down to the appropriate levels. He gets shot and it takes time for his body to heal.

I would write Wolverine, and like roach said, tone down his healing power quite a bit. No healing back from his FREAKING SKELETON, like in the latest issue. I would also make his personality more like the Origin and 80's Wolverine. A guy with a good heart, but not a nice guy. I wouldn't have him giving in to his beserker rages like now, but have him actually try to combat them again, and feel guilty when he goes on his killing spree's. I would also write him so he fights with skill again, and not like a little physcho with claws.

Not sure I follow you on the ice scupltures thing, but having the ability to animate ice sculptures can be handy in the battlefield. Otherwise, we're on the same level... Oh and he can also drop the ice slide, and move via mist, or ice tenticle (ala Legion Quest).

Just because I listed one character doesn't mean I don't want a team to be Omega. And that would be pretty stupid to have a group of people all being Omega.

I'd write Scott and Jean respectfully to their characters and how they were represented in the comics and if I ever write a script for X4 or a spin off, I'd try to remain true to their comic counterparts. As an experience writer, thats what I'd do but keep its complexity.

Well, he recently healed back from nothing but a skeleton. It doesn't matter that there wouldn't be anything to heal back from, he still did. That's just insane. Basically, they have Wolverine's healing ablilty so powerful now that he'll never die.
