Who is going to go into a suicidal depression over it? I could careless if he directed Aqua Man, Green Lantern, or even Green Arrow for instance. He will never get involved with franchises like Spider-Man, Batman, Hulk, or any other franchise that has the potential to generate a powerful buzz and break records.
If he was this great director who knew what he was doing the studios would be lining up for him.
And here you go insulting people who don't like Ratner, Kinberg, or Penn.
You say that we're becoming whiney and will become like Bart Simpson from the Simpsons after witnessing some scary clown? So are you saying that you're becoming the same way because people are criticizing X3 and Ratner?
I can almost guarantee you that if Ratner, by some miracle, got attached to a film like say Wolverine or even the upcoming Submariner film, people would either simply not see it or would express their opinion until a change was made. So really as long as Ratner doesn't go near Captain America, Batman, Punisher, Daredevil, Spider-Man, Hulk, Flash, or Wonder Woman I could careless what he does.
It's not the criticizing of Ratner, Kinberg, or Penn that I have issues with. Your views on how they handled the X-Men movie is your opinion, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I really don't care if you think X-Men is a horrible steaming pile of ****. That's your opinion, and while I disagree, you are completely entitled to it, and you have every right to express it, and I want you (and everyone else) to express your opinions.
It's the way it's handled that I have a problem with. I am sick of thewheepeople's incessant whining over every minute detail. I am sick of him lways copying and pasting articles and going point by point trying to "expose" Kinberg and Penn. I'm tired of ntcrawler's constant "crusading" against X-Men 3 and it's creative team, as if his cause is the only one with any value (though he is hardly around anymore to do it lately).
And most of all, I'm tired of your subtle arrogance that you throw around, just subtle enough that you can try to play innocent, but your arrogance in the matter is still plain for all to see.
The movie is done. It's almost a year old now. Nothing is changing. And while it's OKAY to express your OPINION (I don't care how old the movies get, they are movies that I love, and will always enjoy discussing, whether here or with my friends), it's the methods that are taken that are frustrating. I don't care if it IS X-Men, a source we all love, it's still a god damned ****ing movie. It's based on a ****ing comic book. It's NOT THAT SERIOUS. But the people around here act like they are on a ****ing crusade to rid the world of this filth, like Fox, Ratner, Kinberg, and Penn are some kind of evil that the world must be rid of. They make bad movies. BIG ****ING DEAL.
I'm tired of people trying to use the fact that they paid $10 to see a movie to justify their attitude about the situation, as if they somehow got ripped off. It's a movie. You pay to see it, with the knowledge that you may or may not like it. You were not ripped off.
I'm tired of people acting like Fox is some gateway to the depths of hell, that spews nothing but vile and filth upon the Earth. EVERY ****ING MOVIE STUDIO is out to make a buck, and EVERY ****ING MOVIE STUDIO puts out garbage. I can name a lot of good products that Fox put out, as well as the crap.
I'm tired of people acting like because THEY were disappointed that this movie WAS done wrong, and their cause is the only one with any worth, and those who did like it are just content with mediocracy (your exact words, Sunrise). That the people who DID like it don't matter, because they are wrong. In your words, we're allowed to be wrong if we want to be, but we're still wrong. YOU were disappointed, so your opinion is the only one that matters.
People just really need to get a grip. It was just a movie. It's not some evil that must be rid before it corrupts the world. Evil is terrorism, murder, rape, child molestation, genocide; THAT is evil. Not a bad movie.
Seriously, thewheepeople spends his entire SHH existence searching, copying and pasting articles in an attempt to "expose" these people. Expose them for what? For making a bad movie? For misleading people in an attempt to get people to see their product? THAT'S your freaking noble crusade? Come on, get a grip on reality, please.
Yet, because you all are so self righteous, and think your martyrs for some greater cause, you twist every single one of my statements into a "Nell2ThaIzzay hates people who hate
X-Men: The Last Stand" because you don't have any true comprehension of the situation. You twist my words because you all want to be martyrs, to make it look like you guys are the victims because someone made a bad movie. It's truly freaking ridiculous. I don't give a **** if you liked the movie or not; you disliking the movie has absolutley no impact what so ever on my enjoyment of the movie But please, get a ****ing grip on reality, because while I don't mind the complaints about the film (I find many to be rather legitamate), I'm tired of coming on here everytime to a sesspool of people playing the victim card and trying to play the martyr.
