If you had the chance to renew one cancelled show what would it be ?

While I would love to see AD back, they wrapped it up pretty well in one of the best series finales ever.

I would bring back Veronica Mars either continuing in her college years or jumping to her early FBI years that the bastards at CW didn't want.



Futurama is coming to Comedy Central later this year with new episodes. They are in fact just reedited the Direct to DVD movies that they're doing. The first one came out in November. It was a good time travel movie but lacked laughter. Expect another 3 Direct to DVD Movies of Futurama.

Arrested Development most likely will get a motion picture release or Direct to DVD movie now that the strike is over.

HBO announced plans to do 2 Deadwood TV movies to wrap up the storylines. That may not happen.

And of course Firefly did make it to the big screen.

Actually it was a wise decision for the CW not to go with that, because she would've lost her supporting cast.

Well we don't know what the show would've really looked like, they only shot a brief preview and didn't detail what happened in the years we missed. The supporting cast could've made guest appearences and Sheriff Mars could've been brought back to work on a case, the season's mystery, with the FBI. Veronica's personal life would still be apart of the show. But we can hope for a movie or Direct to DVD in the future as more people learn about the show/Bell's fanbase increases. There also could be a comic book series ala Buffy from DC that would be season four, Rob Thomas talked to DC last year.

If i could bring back any show without doubt i'd choose Arrested Development. another one i wish would have maybe had at least a proper series finale is Married with Children. they got 11 seaons so i really can't complain they weren't on the air long enough, but they didn't get a good sendoff which i think was terrible.

I'm actually catching up to it. I started watching it on TNT from episode 1. i'm already half-way through fourth season.

I watched the very first three episodes, and then i stopped, and it kinda just slipped my mind. When i realize in was in their 5th season, i thought the same thing as you, i was surprised it was still on. and i happened to catch the very first episode of TNT, and so i've been addicted since.

but apparently the ratings have been dropping. too bad.
