If you're not moving, you're not living... Ezra Miller IS Barry Allen/The Flash!

I always thought the Flash movie should have gone in one of two directions to not only break away from the more 'vanilla' take on tv (which is fine for tv, perfect even, since there wasn't any other superhero show on the air), but also to stand out from other cbms.

1) A wackier and crazier approach. Sorta like The Lego Movie of superhero movies.

Or 2) The Fant4stic approach. A more grounded 'hard sci-fi' take on the mythology mixed with an indie flavor when it comes to the character stuff.

Snyder's comments have me thinking it might be the latter, but we'll see.

Makes sense yo I agree. But please leave Fant4stic away!... It's also scripted by Phil Lord and Chris Miller so thats not going to be a sci fi indie take.

Zack also said this universe is built in a way that each respective character's solo movies will have distinct tone and creative individuals like directors can go their own direction without the entire universe being limited by one constant tone..

I want it to be a DEADPOOL movie for general audiences from families to kids.. Just the right amount of craziness without the raunchy rated R stuff..
Flash

I would be happy too see a funny and lovable hipster *****ebag nature of The Flash, as opposed to whiny soap opera TV version that can't do anything for himself

Only Wally West is the more quippy, *****e bag Flash and since they're using Barry, (Who is more serious and straightforward) I expect more of a sci-fi take on the material but still a bit more light-hearted. Basically a tone similar to the Sam Raimi Spider-Man.

I dunno, from some of Terrio's and Miller's comments, I sort of think they might take a less Saturday morning cartoon approach and position Flash as the science superhero.

My guess is if the tv show is more like Raimi (silver age sensabilities, traditional drama), the movie will be Webb (more modern or 'millenial' sensabilities, more candid 'realistic' character work, etc).

Or if the tv show is Story, the movie will be more Trank.

And Barry may not be a comedian, but his nerdiness and optimism means he usually says a lot of stuff the audience can laugh at.

I'm just ready to get the ball rolling with this film. We have Ezra, Grahme-Smith, maybe Jai Courtney and Iris casting will probably be within the next couple months.

And btw, Miller and Lord are no longer on board with the project.

I'm down for that.

Maybe bring in a 'Flash facts'

Just from watching trailers for BvS and Suicide Squad, I don't think the rest of the movies in this universe will try the Fant4stic approach.

Great to see Ezra hanging out with the rest of the Justice League
