I'm guessing by this you've never been through a hurricane. You can drive around and do stuff right up to a certian point and be just fine. Hell, in florida we have the psycho surf squad's that surf right up to that moment because the waves are unfreakingbelievable. You do have to bunker down, but if you're able to drive around then it hasn't fully hit yet or else you wouldn't be able to drive.

No I hadn't been through a hurricane, I thought it was simmilliar to a tornadoe situation, where as if your outdoors and the tornadoe is close, your ****ed.
