In The End, Was The Wrestling Thread Worth It?

My theory:
Due to the positive AmDrag tweet from Vince, I expect a screwy finish to happen this Sunday with Orton retaining only for Vince to return the next night and put Bryan in the main event title match.
Isn't Vince on the Authority's side though? Why would he suddenly side with Bryan?

The Observer is reporting that Alexander Rusev may be changing his finisher to the sidewalk slam, as opposed to the Camel Clutch he had been using.

:hmm

why does HHH even need to be in a match?
Triple H sees himself as a draw and Vince does too. Vince likes all hands on deck for WM, so rest assured Hunter will be wrestling. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he sees himself as Taker's sucessor for the once a year Mania appearance.

I was on the WWE mobile app and saw that there was only one championship. WTF? When did that happen? I thought having two top titles worked and made sense bc the roster was so big

If Bryan is put into the title match and it's a triple threat, I wonder who Triple H's opponent will be. I saw Roman Reigns as a rumor, but it seems to soon for that. If they would have built up Ziggler in the fall he would have been a great opponent for HHH.

It still could be CM Punk:o

How big of a draw is Triple H, especially compared to the likes of Taker or Shawn?

I always felt like HHH was a second tier, never "the guy" but a main event player. I think HHH drew based on his opponent but could never draw on his own.

1st tier-Hogan, Flair, Rock, Austin, Cena, Taker, Punk, Shawn, Savage, Sting
2nd tier-HHH, Batista, Orton, etc.

- According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, New Japan Pro Wrestling have been interested in running shows in the U.S, but with an already existing promotion, due to their last tour not going how they planned. With NJPW iPPV’s now available on uStream they are looking to attract new audience members, and Ring of Honor seemed like the most natural fit due to their Japanese influenced style of wrestling.

NJPW want to run a show in the New York market in May, ROH’s biggest market, and coincidentally ROH are running the Hammerstein Ballroom that month. It’s widely expected that this Saturday, Ring of Honor will confirm the crossover at their HonorCon event prior to their TV taping. It’s also believed they have another big announcement planned.

so if Triple H faced himself at WM, and both brought their shovels to bury each other..............

would the universe implode??

In terms of drawing power the 1st tier is Hogan, Austin, Rock, and Cena. Everyone else comes afterwards.

I really wish I could post what Jim Cornette said about HHH, he described him perfectly

Is it a modified sidewalk slam? Because a normal one used as a finish would be pretty frickin lame.

Fun fact: when I first started watching wrestling, I thought it was called a "slime ball slam" do to the way JR pronounced it in Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth the videogame.

He gets the award for Best Supporting Actor in a WWE Attitude Era PPV.

Why can't Vinny Mac let the Divas be this hardcore?

I wasn't even gonna even attempt to get into the possibilities, but now I will:
Cole vs Tanahashi
Elgin vs Okada
Steen vs Anderson
ACH vs Ibushi or Devitt
Strong vs Devitt
Styles vs Tanahashi

According to a new article by TMZ, former WWE Superstar Nelson Frazier, Jr. was getting into much better shape at the time of his sudden and unexpected death. Cassandra Frazier, Nelson's wife, claims the former King of the Ring had lost almost 100 pounds after seeing his doctor and being told high blood pressure was effecting his diabetes. According to the article, Frazier cut most salt and sugar out of his diet, returning his blood pressure to a normal level, but the drastic health change was too much, too late.

During the height of his career in WWE, where he wrestled as Big Daddy V, King Mabel and Viscera, Nelson Frazier was billed at 487 pounds. He died of a massive heart attack on February 18th, four days after his 43rd birthday.

A rather interesting College dissertation on Pro Wrestling's relationship with its fanbase: http://www.solie.org/articles/pwandfans.html

The Article was made in 1998 but it seems the guy really knows his stuff and sites several sources as well to back up what he says.

I hope you guys enjoy the article
