Oooooooh I didn't recognise it as him. Thank you for confirming!Anson Mount. He played the character in the Inhumans show
John Krasinski
If they cast him, I have to imagine he's also going to be the main MCU Reed and we are going to see him introduced. I doubt they would go to the trouble of casting him just to play a one-off alternate version of Reed when they could've brought back the guy from the Tim Story movies or something like that.
Not necessarily. He’s been a fan favorite for a role and this could just be a fun way of acknowledging it and Krasinski agreed because it was a one off. I’m sure we will get tons of stories about it next week and how it all came together

Also
For what I saw, he gets killed off quite brutally. Had they brought Gruffudd just for that, it would've been quite a punch to the gut for the people who grew up with those movies (like me lol).
If he was the MCU's Reed, well that would feel weird as well imo. We get this character fully established, already introduced and even killed off, and then we're meant to meet him for the first time later on?
Krasinski being a one off makes for a fun cameo with not much of an emotional attachment with the audience so the moment remains mostly cool rather than heartbreaking.
Also, sure, we see Stewart's Professor X getting killed off as well and that's also gonna hurt cause he's so well known. But this is, like, the fourth time we see him die. It loses the impact

I dont want to see any picture of the spoiler things it, I only have a question for the people, who already saw it:
Krasinskis Reed bearded or shaved?
John as Reed in this is a way to see if people like his Reed Richards. If they do Marvel will get him to do more, if not then at least they threw the people a bone who wanted John. It really is a win win for Marvel as far as casting Reed. I don't really care who plays Reed as long as the story is good. I like the Hickman run of FF4.
I think the shock of seeing him show up as Mr Fantastic only to be killed twenty minutes later isn’t enough to gauge if people will like his take. People like the actor in general so would be happy to see him in the MCU in any capacity
It’s been screened by theater workersPeople have already seen the whole movie?
