The Dark Knight Incontention.com: Cast/Crew talk TDK

There was an event for The Dark Knight last night in Beverly Hills and Kristopher Tapley from Incontention.com was there. There were some interesting conversations that he had, which included the possibility that Harvey could still be alive and that Christopher Nolan's future projects may include an original film he's working on, a western, a horror film, and his put aside Howard Hughes film. Here are some excerpts:

I made it a point of digging into the fate of Eckhart’s character in the film. “I don’t care, I don’t think you’re dead,” I said. “Oh, I’m dead,” he responded. I immediately leaned in to Thomas and told her I’m well aware of what she has said on the matter, and all she could offer was a devilish grin. Eckhart jumped in: “Look, if you guys want me back (meaning Thomas, Nolan and company), I’d love to come back.” The case may not be as closed as we’d think.

She mentioned that Nolan is keen to do a horror film, something tangible and perhaps cerebral, more akin to “Jaws” than something supernatural.

I think it was Charles Roven (or at least a producer who wasn't Emma, LOL) who said that he'd shoot a wedding video with Nolan.

Hell, I'd WATCH a wedding video shot by Nolan, he's that good.

Horror would be something different, yet in line with him. A light-hearted comedy, now that would be reaching.

And I agree with Emma. Lose the beard, Chris!

I think Nolan would make a piece of nasty turd on the pavement be invigorating on film. Everyone would be all over that and giving it two thumbs up and Oscar nominations! He's just that good!

And I bet you that would be THE most epic wedding video EVHA! Imagine a non linear wedding video and the weird uncle causing havoc a la ! Actually I would love to see a comedy starting Bale and directed by Nolan. That would be interesting indeed.
