Where exactly is Captain America in the alternate opening?

at the very end when he breaks the ice. but it's pretty much impossible too notice unless you know to look for it. try freeze framing it at the last second.

ya know, finding captain america references in these new movies is kinda becoming like the wheres waldo of marvel:lmao:

If you talking about that barely-there red glow as soon as the ice breaks, then thats the dumbest s**t I've ever seen. For all we know that could be anything. I wasn't expecting to see someone in full costume but at the same time, from what I was hearing at first, I was expecting something that was alittle more obvious than what we got.

Subtle hints for the crossovers are to be expected when the movie is focused on one specific character. When Marvel decides to force the crossovers is when their movies will start to lose effectiveness. From the recent stories about IM2 writers, Marvel is on the right track. The big story crossover in TiH was IM/Avengers at the end.

Hey :) do any of you know if the DVD's been screencapped anywhere yet? I'm dying to get hold of some Hulk screencaps (of Blonsky in particular) for some digital artwork I'm doing...

ya, I was kinda disappointed the 1st time I saw it. I don't miss it in the real movie either.

But what it if was the best thing to do? To keep things... unclear for the moment? Just miss and blink hints?

^^^Well is around 68 million in sales good enough for that sequel? I think it would be. I really want a sequel... :csad:

I think at least $100million should be expected as a minimum.

If that's the case, then we the fans, are screwed. :csad:
Anyone remember how much the Punisher from 2004 made on dvd sales cause the only reason a sequel (eventually turned reboot) was green lit was cause of dvd sales an rentals.

EDIT: I just checked and Punisher made over $60 million on dvd sales which is $5 million more then it made worldwide. So maybe that's why it was given a sequel cause dvd sales in total were better then ticket sales

^^The Punisher cost less to make than TiH. Can't really compare the two.

With a similar budget, Batman Begins made ~$125million on DVD (wikipedia). BB also did better at the theater.

The only way TiH will make $100 million on DVD is by inflation. I sure hope I'm either wrong or this is not the "magic number".

So the likelihood of us getting a sequel comes down to numbers out of our control? I'm being punished because the production company couldn't curb their budget enough and keep the project efficient...then...poorly pimp the movie just weeks before its release?

Like many of you, I did my part by seeing this flick 5-6 times in theatres (BECAUSE IT'S GOOD) and then bought the dvd and after all of that might not get another Hulk film because people aren't buying the dvd enough, and/or they think it's a Lee sequel?

I realize my rant might sound irrational but why do we have to suffer? I want more Hulk movies.

This might be an indirect act but I just want to walk up to Ang Lee and punch him square in the face. :cmad:

I hope they get some of the luck batman did when batman begins didn't make as much money as they expected in 2005. it deserves it.

Yeah, because of Black Friday. EVERYTHING hits budget prices on Black Friday. It's not a "sign" for anything.

A lot of places were selling TIH for $9.99 last week. The fact that it's hitting budget pricing this early isn't a great sign.

That's what I thought too at first, but there were A LOT more movies that dropped in price during Black Friday. Iron Man and Indy were some of them.

TIH is at $76,454,797 ending Nov. 30.

If 100 mill is the magic number, we're not far off, I think it's obtainable.

Here comes the Christmas surge. Buy this movie as a gift for family members, guys. We want that sequel! :word:

Wall-E, Iron Man, and Kung Fu Panda weren't $9.99 on Black Friday. They didn't have to be to move stock.

That's the difference between a true blockbuster hit and TIH, which did o.k.

so all it takes for a sequel is a few (lot!) of people to get the dvd/br?

[starts singing] It's beggining to look alot like christmas...

sum1 else just said they saw iron man and indy 4 for like $10 on black friday, so it probably has more to do w/ individual stores sales than anything else.
